    San Francisco 49ers 17-14 Seattle Seahawks

    Russell Wilson puts Seattle on the brink with a 35-yard pass to DK Metcalf and two plays later veteran Adrian Peterson, just four days after making the Seahawks his seventh NFL team, runs round the outside to get in from a yard.

    That also puts the 36-year-old level with the great Jim Brown on 126 career touchdowns.

    The Steelers finally get some offence going, making 52 yards on the drive before Chris Boswell kicks a 53-yard field goal to get them on the board with 27 seconds to the half.

    And now it's San Francisco's turn to kick a field goal and Robbie Gould makes no mistake from 50 yards - the kickers are stepping up in these late games after some pretty ordinary efforts in the early window.

    Jacksonville Jaguars 7-16 Los Angeles Rams

    Matt Gay kicks his third field goal just before the half to send the Rams further in front - it's not convincing though as the Jags are playing them tough today.

    Daniel Carlson uses his big leg to send a 52-yarder between the sticks and Vegas get on the board at home. Derek Carr just missed on a big throw into the end zone but the Raiders will just take the three.

    Stafford forced out

    Jacksonville Jaguars 7-13 Los Angeles Rams

    John Wolford comes in at QB for a play for the LA Rams after Matthew Stafford takes a huge hit to the chest from the Jaguars pass rushers.

    Stafford is as tough as old boots though so he only sits out for a play - most of us would be out for years after taking that hit!

  9. Heinicke hit hard

    Washington Football Team 7-0 Las Vegas Raiders

    It's all getting a bit chippy now as Las Vegas play rough with Washington QB Taylor Heinicke, who is drilled by Maxx Crosby but not to the referee's liking who flag the Raider for 15 yards for roughing the passer.

    Heinicke is sacked again soon after, and this one counts so Washington have to punt, after the two sides have exchanged a few words that is...

    Baltimore Ravens 7-0 Pittsburgh Steelers

    Isn't this just Ravens football! They've ground out a whopping 99-yard drive, probably 99.5 yards actually, going from right on their own line to scoring through a short Devonta Freeman TD run to take the lead.

    It wasn't pretty at times but Lamar Jackson and tight end Mark Andrews did some heavy lifting - Andrews was brutal when powering to a crucial first down and now Pittsburgh, who haven't made a first down yet, have to answer.

    San Francisco 49ers 14-7 Seattle Seahawks

    This is a bit more like what we expected from this game, with San Francisco's exotic run game being too fancy for Seattle, and there's a nice play run right down at the goal line allowing Elijah Mitchell to barge is way over to put the Niners ahead.

  12. Kittle converts

    San Francisco 49ers 7-7 Seattle Seahawks

    Nice third down conversion from tight end George Kittle, but he adds a bit more sauce on it with some hard-fought yards after the catch. Kittle's a huge fan of the YAC stats and that'll go down very nicely.

    Matt Gay converts from 44 yards to move the Rams six points in front but the Jags will probably take that - they've had decent pressure on Matthew Stafford and sacked him on that drive so they're hanging tough in LA.

    San Francisco 49ers 7-7 Seattle Seahawks

    It's all happening in Seattle! Russell Wilson fumbles but Seattle just about recover, and that leaves them with a lesser-spotted second down and 43!

    The Seahawls obviously don't move the chains and they try a huge 56-yard field goal through Jason Myers but he doesn't have the leg with the ball dropping short.

    Jacksonville Jaguars 7-10 Los Angeles Rams

    Not bad Jacksonville, not bad at all! A 13-play drive of 75 yards results in Carlos Hyde punching it in from one yard away to get the 2-9 Jags back into this game.

    Remember they upset the Buffalo Bills earlier in the season....

  17. Chargers win rumble in the Jungle

    Los Angeles Chargers 41-22 Cincinnati Bengals

    The only game with two play-off teams goes the way of the Chargers and with a bit in hand in the end thanks to a nice day for Justin Herbert and a few too many errors by Joe Burrow and the Bengals.

    Herbert threw three TD passes as the Bolts jumped out to a handy lead, and the Bengals could never get a foothold as turnovers continued to thwart their progress.

    Burrow threw two picks and also lost a fumble, as did Joe Mixon and they proved costly.

    Los Angeles join the Bengals on 7-5 for the season but move up a spot above them in the play-off standings.

    All square in Seattle as George Kittle runs right through thre Seahawks defence to catch the 24-yard TD pass from Jimmy Garoppolo to ties us up at 7-7.

    Seattle's Gerald Everett helped out on that score by coughing up a fumble to set the Niners up on the Seahawks 24.

    Jacksonville move into the red zone thanks to some help from their former player Jalen Ramsey, who is flagged for taunting, again not much in it but players know by now just to get out of the way after every play.

    Not much fun though is it?
