  1. touchdown

Touchdown Coltspublished at 19:56 GMT 5 December 2021

    Indianapolis Colts 21-0 Houston Texans

Well, the Texans were containing Jonathan Taylor.

From the first possession of the third quarter, the NFL's touchdown leader punches it in from three yards to round off a 75-yard drive.

Indianapolis are now firmly on top after TDs either side of the half.

  2. Burrow gloved-uppublished at 19:52 GMT 5 December 2021

Los Angeles Chargers 24-13 Cincinnati Bengals

Joe Burrow has a glove on his right hand as the teams come out for the second half, with the Bengals getting the ball first. He looked in some pain on the sidelines before going on that last drive so let's see if this new kit will help him out.

  3. Turnover - Bucs defence strikespublished at 19:48 GMT 5 December 2021

Tampa Bay Buccaneers 20-17 Atlanta Falcons

Russell Gage catches a pass for a big gain but the ball is punched out by a swarming Bucs defence who then pounce on it like a pack of wolves and Tom Brady will get the ball back straight away in this second half.

Huge blow to Atlanta who had all the momentum from that Brady pick six at the end of the first half.

  4. field goal

Field goal Giantspublished at 19:48 GMT 5 December 2021

  6. field goal

Field goals - Lionspublished at 19:39 GMT 5 December 2021

    Minnesota Vikings 6-20 Detroit Lions

It's been a good half for winless Detroit and quarterback Jared Goff.

They cap a 77-yard drive with a Riley Patterson field goal, and despite there being just 1:37 till the half, they get back in position for another three-pointer after sacking Kirk Cousins.

  7. Turnover - Burrow back in the gamepublished at 19:35 GMT 5 December 2021

Los Angeles Chargers 24-13 Cincinnati Bengals

Chidobe Awuzie somehow picks off Justin Herbert by ripping the ball out of the receivers hands in the air! It's wonderful athleticism and it gives the Bangals the ball back with a minute and change to play.

Joe Burrow does come back out and although he looks far from comfortable with that finger he does throw a first down.

  8. ouch!

    Ouch!published at 19:33 GMT 5 December 2021

Los Angeles Chargers 24-13 Cincinnati Bengals

Joe Burrow on the sidelines with a rather odd looking little finger on his throwing hand - looks to be pointing a different way than it should. We'll have to keep an eye on this one.

  9. touchdown

    Touchdown - Bengalspublished at 19:31 GMT 5 December 2021

Los Angeles Chargers 24-13 Cincinnati Bengals

Joe Burrow has a surgically repaired knee but you wouldn't know it the way he took off and raced in for a six-yard rushing touchdown. Six yards doesn't sound much but in the NFL it's long enough!

Bengals back in business in the Jungle.

  10. touchdown

Touchdown - Falcons pick sixpublished at 19:29 GMT 5 December 2021

Tampa Bay Buccaneers 20-17 Atlanta Falcons

Big man with football alert! Defensive lineman Marlon Davidson picks off Tom Brady, who is only just outside his own end zone, so the big man just has to take it three yards to score the touchdown that's got the Mercedes-Benz Stadium rocking.

Davidson did brilliantly here, spotting that the screen pass was on, he sneaked in behind his own man and then pulled in the ball with wonderfully soft hands before ghosting into the end zone. Great touch for a big man as they'd say in football (mainly about Peter Crouch).

Nothing gets a team going like a Brady pick six!

  11. touchdown

Touchdown Coltspublished at 19:27 GMT 5 December 2021

    Indianapolis Colts 14-0 Houston Texans

The Colts' patience pays off, with Carson Wentz engineering an 11-play drive before floating a pass to Ashton Dulin at the back of the end zone.

  12. Kicking contestpublished at 19:24 GMT 5 December 2021

    Arizona Cardinals 21-7 Chicago Bears

After scoring a touchdown on their first three possessions, the Cardinals have been coming up short having been forced to punt.

The good news is they're playing the Bears who have had to kick it right back twice with their 29th-ranked offence plaing exactly like the 29th-ranked offence in the league.

  13. touchdown

Touchdown Dolphinspublished at 19:21 GMT 5 December 2021

New York Giants 3-10 Miami Dolphins

Tua Tagovailoa is spraying the ball around in Miami. The Dolphins quarterback has just capped a 14-play drive with a five-yard touchdown pass to Mack Hollins. Tagovailoa is now up to 137 yards having completed 21 of 25 passes.

  14. Turnover for Bengalspublished at 19:21 GMT 5 December 2021

Los Angeles Chargers 24-6 Cincinnati Bengals

Austin Ekeler fumbles the ball on a run, we think! It's tough to tell if he got a knee or something down before the ball came out but as it was ruled a fumble on the field there's no evidence to overturn it.

Cincinnati picked the ball up and get the much-needed turnover.

  15. Sack - Jets stoppedpublished at 19:19 GMT 5 December 2021

Philadelphia Eagles 21-18 New York Jets

Finally the touchdown run ends at six with Zach Wilson getting sacked forcing the Jets to punt it away - can Gardner Minshew get another strike in before half-time?

  16. Postpublished at 19:18 GMT 5 December 2021

    Indianapolis Colts 7-0 Houston Texans

Jonathan Taylor may be leading the NFL for rushing yards but the 2-9 Texans are doing a good job containing the red-hot running back.

He's had 19 carries for an average of just 3.5 yards so far today, with the Colts having had to punt on their last two drives.

  17. touchdown

    Touchdown - Bengalspublished at 19:18 GMT 5 December 2021

Los Angeles Chargers 24-6 Cincinnati Bengals

Cincy finally get on the board and it takes a blinder of a catch from Tee Higgins to haul in a 29-yard pass from Joe Burrow that really needed some catching in heavy traffic.

You'll notice that just gets the Bengals six points, as yet again the extra point is missed! Evan McPherson the culprit this time.

  18. field goal

Field goal - Dolphinspublished at 19:11 GMT 5 December 2021

New York Giants 3-3 Miami Dolphins

After the Giants break the deadlock, the Dolphins reply with a field goal of their own to level things up, Jason Sanders splitting the sticks from 48 yards.

  19. touchdown

    Touchdown - Eaglespublished at 19:08 GMT 5 December 2021

Philadelphia Eagles 21-18 New York Jets

I mean, what do you expect from this game apart from another touchdown, it's more like the NBA at the moment as these two teams have scored every time they've had the ball so far.

Six drives and six touchdowns as Kenneth Gainwell runs it in from 18 yards to put the Eagles ahead - they've got a three-point lead thanks to the struggles of Jets kicker Alex Kessman.

  20. touchdown

Touchdown Lionspublished at 19:06 GMT 5 December 2021

    Minnesota Vikings 6-14 Detroit Lions

Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins spills it after being sacked by Charles Harris and it's recovered by Detroit's Julian Okwara.

Jared Goff then finds Josh Reynolds for 28 yards and follows that up with a 23-yard strike to Brock Wright in the end zone.

That takes Goff past 100 passing yards already. Could this finally be the day the Lions break their duck?
