After some incredible performances away from home, Liverpool are back at Anfield this weekend for only the second time this season when they play Hull on Saturday.

Jurgen Klopp's men have looked devasting on occasions this season. They put four goals past the teams that finished first and second in the Premier League last season. There's also an intensity and controlled aggression about their play that has allowed them to smother the opposition at times.

The manager will be asked questions this morning about whether Lorus Karius will keep his place in goal after a clean sheet on his debut against Derby in midweek in the EFL cup.

There are other selection considerations to consider, particularly up front where the Reds manager has an embarrassment of riches.

Hull City look to have a job on their hands at the weekend, make no mistake. Liverpool look irresistible at the moment.

    Yaya's agent is at it again...published at 10:23 BST 22 September 2016

    Football

Yaya Toure’s agent Dimitri Seluk has publicly criticised Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola, for a change...

He has now suggested that in order to prove himself as a great manager he should go to a team like Sunderland.

Speaking to Sky Sports News, he said: “Pep was successful at Barcelona and Bayern Munich, but take a look behind that success.

“The team he took at Barca had been built by Frank Rijkaard and then he was lucky to have Lionel Messi. It was Messi who made Barca, not Pep. Luis Enrique has shown that Barca’s success was not down to Guardiola.

“If Pep wants to prove himself as a great manager, then he should go to Real Zaragoza or Sunderland. Let’s see how good he is when he doesn't take over a great team and hasn't got half a billion pounds to spend."

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has said they do not yet know the extent of the injury defender Vincent Kompany suffered in the win over Swansea on Wednesday.

Kompany, who was making his comeback after five months out, walked off the pitch before the final whistle after Swansea scored in the third minute of stoppage time.

Guardiola said: "The doctors are speaking with him, but hopefully it is not a big, big problem. We're going to wait for the result.

"Once they scored the goal, after I said: 'What happened?'. They said that Vincent had gone to the locker room. Hopefully, it will not be a big problem. We will have to wait. If he's injured, he's injured. He cannot stay on the pitch."
