A disappointing bogey-bogey finish for Pierceson Coody as he ends his day right back where he started on three under after a level-par round of 70.
He got himself two under twice but each time he made two bogeys so in the end that's just about what he deserved from the round.
A disappointing end too for playing partner Johnny Keefer who had battled his way to three under but then also bogeyed 18. Still, they're both there or thereabouts heading into the weekend.

A muscular tee shot from Alex Fitzpatrick at the short par-four fifth gets him onto the fringe of the green.
He clips onto the putting surface and trundles it up to one-and-a-half feet. The simplest of birdies for the Yorkshireman.
Bob MacIntyre safely two-putts from 23 feet for par.

I can't imagine what his heart rate must be now.
I never ever thought when I saw this golf course that we could be looking at someone who could shoot 60, or maybe 59. If he gets that birdie putt at 17, then anything can happen.
He is playing in a different zone at the minute.

We haven't missed anything notable with Bob MacIntyre and Alex Fitzpatrick, who are making their way down the fifth hole.
On the par-three fourth, they both chalked up another par, the latter scrambling expertly out of the greenside bunker.

It's a case of unlucky 13 for both men as they bogey the par-four 13th.
PGA champion Rai misses a kneeknocker from three feet to two putt while Koepka does likewise from five feet.

Absolutely not.
A drive measuring 373 yards finds the right edge of the fairway on 17 and he'll have about 200 yards left for his second shot into the green on the par five.

Rory McIlroy has delighted the galleries with his booming drives this week and there's another one at 13, 363 yards and in the fairway.
But the second from only 133 is poor by his standards and stops 40 feet away from the cup. He two putts for par.
Matt Fitzpatrick is well outside the cut mark and badly needs birdies with holes running out, but it's just a four here.

Ludvig Aberg hasn't been putting badly, but everything has just been burning the edges and lipping out, until he gets one to drop on 13 for a much-needed birdie.
Cameron Young is just gathering pars right now but that's not too bad when you're four under - limit the mistakes then try and take some chances when they come.

They say Saturday is usually "moving day" at the majors but Lucas Herbert has made a massive leap up to the top of the leaderboard today.
The Australian went out in 28 shots - equalling the record for the lowest front-nine score in Open history.

Lucas Herbert is now nine under for the day and two pars on the final two holes would give him a round of 61, which would be a new record low score for a men's major.
The par-five 17th provides another chance for birdie, although the 18th is playing as the hardest hole on the course.

Pierceson Coody gets into trouble on the 17th after finding the rough off the tee and then the fairway bunker with his second.
This is the third easiest hole on the course but every hole is tough from the rough and the sand - he does leave eight feet for par but he can't convert it so it's a shot gone.
That's annoying right at the end of his round on an easy hole.

Matt Fitzpatrick chews his lip as he walks off with his head bowed.
The galleries groaned and there is certainly a lot of sympathy because we’ve all been there digging about in the sand.
The Birkdake bunkers are as tough as all links traps - I can certainly testify after needing three attempts to get out of the donut bunker on the seventh. D'oh-nut bunker, more like.
But there’s also an element of schadenfreude from those watching Fitzpatrick - because they can finally relate to the world’s superstars in some way on the course.
