Justin Rose cut a frustrated figure at times over the first two days but he's been back to his best on Moving Day.

The 2013 US Open champion lit up the front nine with four straight birdies from the third, gained another at the par-five ninth and moved six under for the round with a three at the driveable par-four 13th.

Unfortunately, he's just dropped his first shot of the day with a four at 14, but a strong finish and he'll be right in this going into championship Sunday.

  2. Catching up with Rorypublished at 17:35 BST 16 May

    McIlroy -1, Koepka +1 (7)

Rory McIlroy teed off at 16:00 BST and made an immediate move with a birdie at the first, but after passing up chances on the next two, he missed a tiddler at the fourth to drop back.

However, he made a two at the par-three fifth and gained another stroke at the sixth after a gargantuan drive on to the green of the 397-yard par four.

It's been a birdie fest today. McIlroy needs to shoot a low one and hope the wind picks up for the leaders later on.

All pars for McIlroy's playing partner Brooks Koepka, for whom the putts continue to stay above ground.

Welcome back golf fans to day three of the US PGA Championship - it's moving day!

And there's already been some movement with Justin Rose making a flying start and Rory McIlroy making a move to try and get in among the leaders at Aronimink.

We've heard plenty from the players about how tough the golf course has been the last two days, but there could be a few more friendly flags today that could see players going low.

And that's exactly what we want as this tournamwnt is wide open - Maverick McNealy and Alex Smalley lead but there's an absolute cavalry charge behind them and the likes of Scottie Scheffler, Ludvig Aberg, Cameron Young and Justin Thomas are all in touch.

We could see some real fireworks tonight...
