Lando Norris is in fourth place and after two grands prix with no points, this will be a much-needed boost. The world champion is following Kimi Antonelli for the final podium place, but he's not close enough yet to the Mercedes to mount an attack.

Kimi Antonelli has got his mirrors full of Lando Norris but his eyes forward on George Russell. His engineer was saying the battle is going to be between Lando Norris. I think now for him, it is a battle for second place.

    Lap 49/66

Unfortunately for Lewis Hamilton, there are no Kardashians at the Barcelona circuit to cheer him on.

George Russell can't find away to cut down the advantage Hamilton's has built for himself, so 7.8 seconds remains the gap that separates first and second.

Alex Albon is celebrating a record 96th start for Williams today but his race has been anything put memorable. "Alex came in to the pits to fix a loose camera. The team has since made changes to his car and he will return to the Grand Prix as a testing session to gather more data," says the team.

The Williams of Carlos Sainz is in 13th place.

George Russell knows he has been done over a little bit with that VSC, it is really frustrating. He's done everything right in this grand prix and it was like lady luck herself was not in his favour in this grand prix so far.

Do Mercedes have an answer to the Lewis Hamilton dilemma? Not at the moment, the Ferrari is controlling the race from the front. George Russell's fortunes have turned this weekend, but it might not be the win he was hoping for after grabbing pole yesterday.

Lewis absolutely putting the hammer down on this out lap. Really, really played perfectly into Ferraris hands. You couldn't time it better. It was a little bit of luck but sometimes you have to get a little bit of luck in racing, it is motorsport after all.
