  1. Russell and Antonelli battle for leadpublished at 14:50 BST 14 June

    Lap 33/66

It's not Spain 2016, but George Russell and Kimi Antonelli are starting to squabble. Russell is trying to defend as the teenager comes on the attack.

Pete Bonnington, Antonelli's race engineer, has to remind his driver he's already had a wrist slap for track limits in this race, so just keep things clean.

Already, on lap 30, not even halfway through this race and Kimi Antonelli is being told by his engineer, no more track limits. He is on his final warning. If he goes all four wheels past that white line, in any of the corners, that will be a penalty.

Ferrari pick up on the phone to Lewis Hamilton. The seven-time world champion is rapid on his medium tyres, and he's passed team-mate Charles Leclerc and is now fourth.

Kimi Antonelli is close to George Russell. Really close...

That [Hamilton pit stop] is earlier than I had expected them to come. Especially for a three stop strategy. They are really struggling out there with the tyres. You really want to prolong this as long as possible, get every ounce of energy out of these tyres. This is where he is going to try and undercut the likes of Mercedes' George Russell.

    Lap 31/66

The afternoon traffic is building up in Barcelona, and race leader George Russell is stuck in the middle of it. He does get through, but he's now got team-mate Kimi Antonelli right on his rear. The gap between Russell and the title leader is below a second.

Hamilton is in fifth, with his Ferrari team-mate Charles Leclerc next to try and overtake.

Lewis looks the better driver today. It's up to Mercedes to out strategy him.

    Lap 29/66

With his fresh tyres bolted on, Lewis Hamilton is crawling over the back of Oscar Piastri. The Ferrari man doesn't need a second invitation to pass, and he's through on the Australian to take fifth place, as Max Verstappen has just dived into the pits.

  12. Hamilton heads into the pitspublished at 14:42 BST 14 June

Ferrari have decided to stop Lewis Hamilton again from second place. The seven-time world champion swaps to the medium tyres and rejoins the field in seventh place, just behind the McLaren of Oscar Piastri in sixth.

Lando Norris, looking at the times, is a couple of tenths quicker the last few laps than Kimi Antonelli. He is starting to close that gap on the back of the Mercedes driver. It's 1.7, the gap now. McLaren who haven't had a strong start to the weekend, disappointing qualifying session, seem to have got some pace now and he is storming up to the back of Kimi Antonelli.

    Lap 27/66

George Russell is asking his Mercedes pit wall to just keep an eye on the front wing - it's feeling a bit iffy. The Briton has a clear road ahead of him, but Lewis Hamilton is still the fastest man on track in Barcelona. Kimi Antonelli, who started third, is in the final podium place in P3.

  16. Leclerc 'man on a mission'published at 14:39 BST 14 June

Leclerc is getting faster and faster as the laps go on. Whereas all the cars ahead are going a tenth or two slower each lap. It is a really big shift in the difference on approach from our top six. I think Leclerc is edging forward, another green sector one. He is a man on a mission at the moment.

George Russell luck has turned in the race after some miserable results in hte past races. He said he wanted "neutral luck", but so far, he's untroubled from pole position and is leading former Mercedes buddy Lewis Hamilton by 2.7 seconds.

That slightly longer run Charles Leclerc has done on his first set of tyres, I think, is paying in his favour. A second a lap faster than the two leaders of George Russell and Lewis Hamilton. The only other driver he is really close to in pace is Kimi Antonelli, who is also ebbing and flowing between the two.
