He might not have the same energy as before, but his game intelligence will be hard to replace.

Selhurst Park is always an interesting ground to come and commentate at. You get this almost 'picture frame' view of the pitch and you don't see a lot of height.

There is also a couple of big poles in our way so it can be very challenging to get the right calls. There is a lot of character though, I enjoy coming here.

Calvin Bassey isn't holding back in the challenge and he throws in two perfectly timed ones on the half-way line.

Who doesn't love a good sliding challenge?!

Now a free-kick to Aston Villa in a good position after Emiliano Buendía is fouled by Casemiro.

This is a decent opportunity for the visitors but it all goes horribly wrong. Aston Villa's set-piece coach will not be happy with that.

Elliot Anderson does everything right apart from the finish.

He shows great energy to burst past Calvin Bassey before a lovely Cruyff turn opens space for a shot but he drags it horribly wide.

A really good ball from Ezri Konsa, who was in his own half, and he tried to bend it around Kobbie Mainoo and Leny Yoro, but it was a last-ditch from Yoro who gets that ball to safety.

Tyrone Mings with a back-pass to Emi Martinez. It bobbles around the keeper's feet and, for one split second, it looks like United could take advantage, before Martinez gets it away.

Silly one from Brennan Johnson there. It's a late kick at Gabriel Gudmundsson. He doesn't pick up a booking but gets a talking to.

Palace have started with good intent and some high energy. They have put pressure on Leeds and not allowed them to settle.

John McGinn is such a busy player, organising his team-mates and pointing the way. Villa has missed their on-pitch leader in recent weeks but he's back today and getting stuck in.

Brennan Johnson steps up and looks to lift it over the wall but it glances off the head of Dominic Clavert-Lewin and behind for a corner.

Leeds are under the cosh here and Pascal Struijk dives in on Evann Guessand to give away a free-kick in a great position for an effort on goal.

Leeds haven't settled here.

Great play and very positive from Luke Shaw. The ball was in the air a long time and Emiliano Martínez waits. He has got to come and take charge.

Cheers from the home fans as Emi Martinez hoofs the ball out of play. Then...a deep cross into the Villa penalty area which Lucas Digne is forced to head clear.

Karl Darlow ponders on the ball and is very nearly dispossessed. That's the last thing Leeds need right now.

By the way, Kobbie Mainoo is making his 52nd start in the Premier League today, the same number Cristiano Ronaldo made before turning 21.

The only players to make more for Manchester United aged 20 or younger are Ryan Giggs (83), Wayne Rooney (64) and Alejandro Garnacho (58).

Raul Jimenez is wearing gloves in March. Not sure how I feel about that.

Paul Tierney, the referee caught in the middle of the Chelsea huddle in that bizarre situation at Stamford Bridge yesterday, is the fourth official at Selhurst Park today.

Both sides had their pre-match huddles in their own halves, and without incident.

This is a big, bag game as far as the bottom three are concerned.

A win for Forest and they move three points above but Fulham will have other ideas.
