This is a right old scrap at the City Ground this afternoon.

It's a decent watch with both sides having a go.

If it wasn't for Morgan Gibbs-White, their goal-scoring record would be a lot lower. They've got the players the team isn't too different from last season. It's been too easy for teams to come here, they need to find a way to get the ball into the back of the net.

We've just had a VAR check for a potential Leeds penalty after Lukas Nmecha was bundled over in the home box following a long throw.

But it was short lived, and cheers from the Palace support tell you it wasn't given.

Also, the VAR announcement over the tannoy came with its own little electronic music jingle. Not sure I've heard that at a ground before.

Leeds have only won one away game in the Premier League this season which was at Wolves. Since then, 11 games have passed.

It is Leeds' worst run in the Premier League since 1993. That will be the concern.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin finds space in the box and gets up well but his header is easy for Walter Benitez.

It's a decent attempt but he's too far out.

There was a VAR check for a possible penalty after that Matheus Cunha cross for a tug by Tyrone Mings on Amad Diallo.

A quick decision on this occasion...play on.

Leeds fans make their feelings known towards VAR after Lukas Nmecha is dragged down by Tyrick Mitchell.

VAR had a look at a possible penalty but nothing given.

The free-kick is whipped in and the marking is nowhere from Forest. Calvin Bassey looks like he's going to score but Matz Sels keeps it out with his legs.

Oh my word, it is an incredible cross from Matheus Cunha. He leaves it in an area, it looks like it is going into Martinez's hands, but it fades away. It was a brilliant cross and someone should have been on the end of it.

First sign of a goal.

A lovely delivery by Matheus Cunha who fizzes it into the six yard area and Lucas Digne is forced to put it behind for a corner.

Harry Wilson is causing problems. He bursts down the right after being fed by Raul Jimenez but is hacked down by Neco Williams.

Leeds are growing into this one as Lukas Nmecha gets the better of Chris Richards. He looks to square it but Palace have bodies back.

No sign of a shot by either side.

The first real chance of the game goes to Leeds as the long throw isn't cleared. It drops nicely into the path of Brenden Aaronson. He strikes the ball well enough across goal but misses the far post.
