    GOAL - Tottenham 1-0 Slavia Praguepublished at 20:27 GMT 9 December 2025

    David Zima (og, 26 mins)

Tottenham have the breakthrough but it's a disaster for Slavia Prague.

It comes from a corner which is headed along by Cristian Romero and David Zima just heads it straight into his own net.

Sloppy stuff from the visitors but the goal has been coming.

    Tottenham 0-0 Slavia Prague

Everything looks pretty easy for Spurs so far. Slavia Prague are leaving huge gaps, making darting passes through the lines pretty simple.

    Joao Pedro

Just look at Enzo Maresca's reaction!

Chelsea's Italian boss clinches his fists in celebration as Joao Pedro slides in to meet Reece James' lovely low cross and send the visitors into the lead.

There was a lengthy VAR check for offside but the goal is eventually given much to the delight of the healthy away following from England.

Big news from Barcelona where the hosts trail Eintracht Frankfurt. Ansgar Knauff has given the Germans, who had won just one of their previous five league phase games, the lead.

It ends a run of 283 minutes without a goal in the Champions League for Frankfurt.

    Inter Milan 0-0 Liverpool

Curtis Jones can't believe Inter are given a free-kick there. He turns nicely away from Marcus Thuram but catches the Inter striker in the face.

Completely accidental but the referee gives it to Inter.

Alexander Isak takes the ball on his thigh and looks to get moving with it but Nicolo Barella nicks it off him.

The big Swede has got to protect the ball better than that.

Spurs may have started well but Slavia Prague do not look like a side simply content to sit back. They have had a couple of decent efforts just to remind Thomas Frank's side they will not have it all their own way.

    Tottenham 0-0 Slavia Prague

Lovely build-up play from Tottenham and Mohammed Kudus whips across the box looking for Wilson Odobert but it's really good defending in the end by Igoh Ogbu.

He puts it over his own bar but that could've gone anywhere.

    Atalanta 0-0 Chelsea

That's outstanding defending by Josh Acheampong!

The 19-year-old spreads himself on the edge of the six yard area to block Ademola Lookman's goal-bound attempt.

That looked like a certain goal for Atalanta.

Acheampong climbs to his feet after his block, clenches his fists and lets out a yell.

  18. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 20:18 GMT 9 December 2025

Blow for Atalanta as Raoul Bellanova cannot continue after picking up an injury. Former Chelsea defender Davide Zappacosta comes on in his place.

  19. Spurs make decent startpublished at 20:17 GMT 9 December 2025

    Tottenham 0-0 Slavia Prague

    Phil McNulty
BBC Sport chief football writer at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium

Spurs have had an encouraging opening and are doing most of the pressing.

They should really be ahead. It was a stunning reaction save from Slavia Prague keeper Jindrich Stanek but Richarlison should never have given him a chance to make that save.

It was point-blank and close in. The Brazilian should have put it away.
