    West Ham 0-1 London City

It seems like all the excitement in London today has been gone to Kingsmeadow.

It has gone a bit flat here at West Ham. London City are trying, but failing, to get through the hosts. The Irons are tootless going forwards.

  2. goal

GOAL - Chelsea 3-2 Aston Villapublished at 32 mins

    Kirsty Hanson (Aston Villa)

A crazy, but brilliantly entertaining first half at Kingsmeadow.

Just like Aston Villa's first goal, it comes from a fine ball in from the right from Lynn Wilms and this time Kirsty Hanson is there on the end of it. She is ahead of marker Lucy Bronze and slams the ball home from the inviting delivery.

  3. 'When James plays like this, she is unstoppable'published at 12:29 BST 29 March

    Chelsea 3-1 Aston Villa

Former Chelsea defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

I said she was going to have a worldie in her today.

It doesn't matter whether she's on her left foot or right foot, they are both as strong as each other.

When she plays like this, she is unstoppable.

    West Ham 0-1 London City

We've just had a stoppage in play here as Malou Marcetto received some treatment for a shoulder injury, but she is fine to continue.

  5. goal

GOAL - Chelsea 3-1 Aston Villapublished at 27 mins

    Lauren James (Chelsea)

Lauren James may have scored Chelsea's second, with Naomi Girma trying to claim it, but there is no doubt that the Blues' third of the afternoon comes from the England winger.

This is a great goal too. She picks up the ball on the right side, cuts inside and shoots hard and low left footed from 25 yards out with the ball zipping past a diving Ellie Roebuck.

  6. 'Villa will be disappointed'published at 12:26 BST 29 March

    Chelsea 2-1 Aston Villa

    Gilly Flaherty
Former Chelsea defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

I said Lauren James was looking dangerous the more this game is going on with these efforts but I think Villa will be disappointed that that was allowed to go in as easy as it was.

    West Ham 0-1 London City

London City have definitely perked up since that goal.

They're finally taking the game to West Ham and getting in behind them. The momentum has shifted.

  8. goal

GOAL - Chelsea 2-1 Aston Villapublished at 23 mins

    Naomi Girma (Chelsea)

From 1-0 down to 2-1 up.

Chelsea have turned this around quickly. They play a short corner and Lauren James floats the ball in from the corner of the penalty area and Naomi Girma looks to have got the faintest of touches with her head for her first WSL goal.

She's certainly trying to claim it, although it probably would've gone in anyway.

If Villa can grind Chelsea down today, that'll benefit Arsenal a lot for Wednesday, especially since Arsenal have half a day's extra rest and pulled their best players early.

It's the second leg of the Women's Champions League quarter-final at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday, with Arsenal holding a 3-1 lead.

  10. 'A brilliant finish'published at 12:22 BST 29 March

    Chelsea 1-1 Aston Villa

    Gilly Flaherty
Former Chelsea defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

I think there was a few arms raised from Aston Villa players wondering if she was offside or not but when Sam Kerr is through on goal, you fancy her to put it in the back of the net.

    It's a brilliant finish.

    West Ham 0-1 London City

    Fern Whelan
Former England and Brighton defender on Sky Sports

West Ham will be disappointed in the manner in which they have conceded that goal, coming from that corner. It's a fantastic counterattack and finish from London City, though.

  12. goal

GOAL - Chelsea 1-1 Aston Villapublished at 20 mins

    Sam Kerr

It had been coming and Chelsea have an equaliser. Sam Kerr, back from Asian Cup duty with Australia, bends her run to say onside to collect a pass and then strikes at goal.

Ellie Roebuck, who had been superb, gets a hand to the effort, but can't keep the ball out and will probably be a bit disappointed with that.

  13. goal

GOAL - West Ham 0-1 London Citypublished at 12:19 BST 29 March

    Jana Fernandez (20 mins)

West Ham will be very frustrated with that one.

Another mediocre delivery from a corner is immediately snatched by London City and the visitors race up the pitch.

Estelle Cascarino tries to close down the counter-attack but can't get back in time as Jana Fernandez slides down and manages to guide a low effort past Kinga Szemik.

  14. 'Brilliant stop from Roebuck'published at 12:19 BST 29 March

    Chelsea 0-1 Aston Villa

    Gilly Flaherty
Former Chelsea defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

It's a brilliant stop there from Roebuck. She is having a decent game so far.

I think she is so aware when James cuts in what she wants to do but it's a huge save.

  15. GREAT SAVE!published at 12:19 BST 29 March

    Chelsea 0-1 Aston Villa

Chelsea have been dominant since falling behind. Lauren James shows great skill to create space and slides in a pass to Sjoeke Nusken, who strikes powerfully first time.

But Ellie Roebuck flings herself to her right to stop being beaten at the near post. Nusken then heads goalwards from the corner, with goalscorer Chasity Grant heading off the line.

    West Ham 0-0 London City

46.5% of the action took place in London City's defensive third across the first 15 minutes.

West Ham have been on top.

  17. Postpublished at 12:17 BST 29 March

    Chelsea 0-1 Aston Villa

Lauren James is at the top corner of the penalty area and curls an effort, looking for the far post but it is straight into the hands of visiting goalkeeper Ellie Roebuck.

  18. Postpublished at 12:14 BST 29 March

    Chelsea 0-1 Aston Villa

Chelsea have applied pressure since going behind. A cross makes its way to the back post, but it just bounces out of the reach of Alyssa Thompson.

  19. Postpublished at 12:13 BST 29 March

    Chelsea 0-1 Aston Villa

Chasity Grant scored her first goal in the Women's Super League this season, netting for the first time since scoring in a 3-2 away win over West Ham on 4 May.

It was also Lynn Wilms' fifth WSL assist of the season.

    West Ham 0-0 London City

    Fern Whelan
Former England and Brighton defender on Sky Sports

London City have bags of experience on the pitch but it's about how they make that gel on the pitch. There's players in this side who have won a lot of trophies.

They have done well this season but they'll need to push on next season and it will be interesting to see what they do in the summer.
