Chelsea players will have been thinking about this all week. I don't think it was a bad performance at the Emirates, but they didn't take the chances that they created especially in the opening 15 minutes.

They will be desperate for this game to get going and I can imagine they have spoken about making a fast start.

You can't write this Chelsea team off. In terms of the quality and individuals they have, the likes of James and Kerr, Bronze.

If they had taken their chances at the Emirates then it would have been a totally different game.

It is a frustrating one for Chelsea because they would have gone in 2-1 down at half time and the whole complexion of the team talk and the second half would have been very different.

For me it was a goal all round. I don't think Buurman has really leaned on Codina too much - she made a meal of it. It was a good goal all round.

While Chelsea lost 3-1 at the Emirates in the first leg against Arsenal, they did have two goals disallowed - the first was a controversial decision in which Veerle Buurman wad adjudged to have pushed Laia Codina before heading the ball into the back of the net.

Had it stood, that would have halved Arsenal's two-goal lead to 2-1 just before half-time.

Blues boss Sonia Bompastor was visibly upset on the touchline as she approached the fourth official to question the decision, later calling for 'more competence' from match officials.

It's pretty much as expected in terms of the starting XIs from both teams, while Renee Slegers has the luxury of rotating Chloe Kelly and Beth Mead for Olivia Smith and Caitlin Foord.

Both squads were depleted last week due to the Asian Cup but it felt like Chelsea were most affected with Sam Kerr and Ellie Carpenter not available for 90 minutes.

The number nine position has been a problem for Chelsea this season with Aggie Beever-Jones and Mayra Ramirez struggling with injuries, before Catarina Macario joined San Diego Wave last month.

It means Sam Kerr's availability is a huge boost. Sonia Bompastor has received some criticism over her use of her this season.

Kerr has played five games in the Champions League, starting three and scoring three so it's easy to see why fans want more.

She's found it difficult to gain game time regularly in the WSL but can she make the difference tonight?

In this second half Bayern have deserved it. It is a phenomenal strike, drops kindly for Dallmann in that space between the penalty spot and the edge of the box. No chance for Tullis-Joyce, smashes it into the top corner.

And the bad news for Manchester United is that Bayern don't look like they're slowing down. They're searching for another.
