Harder just looked on another level in the first leg. The speed with which she took her shots wrongfooted Tullis-Joyce- I don't think she was ready for her to shoot that early on both occasions. She put herself in great positions for both goals.She rolled back the years with the technique, the close control and the composure.

Pernille Harder's two goals at Old Trafford last week took her Champions League tally to seven goals this season.

Only Arsenal's Alessia Russo has more (eight).

Bayern Munich usually play their matches at the FC Bayern Campus Arena, which has a 2,500 capacity.

But tonight's game is at the 75,000-seater Allianz Arena and the club said earlier today they had sold 20,000 tickets.

It's been a tough seven days for Manchester United.

After a 3-2 defeat by Bayern Munich at Old Trafford last Wednesday, Marc Skinner's side fell to a lacklustre 3-0 loss against derby rivals Manchester City in the WSL on Saturday.

That leaves them fourth - outside of the Champions League places with only three games remaining.

They've got a big battle ahead to salvage their season.

Manchester United

Here's what Manchester United boss Marc Skinner said in yesterday's press conference: "We knew we played a fantastic team at Old Trafford, we allowed goals that we wouldn't usually but we're still in the tie. And when we're in that tie, we know it's one big hit.

"Our players have played and ran a lot in this block so to come here, to this Arena, to give ourselves a chance of going into the semi-finals is a massive carrot that our players want to take.

"We have to come in and silence a fantastic arena of brilliant fans and we have to go and create history and I think everyone is geed up and ready to that."

Here's a reminder of how the first leg panned out...

Manchester Untied twice fought back from Pernille Harder goals, but they had no answer to a superb 84th-minute strike from Momoko Tanikawa.

Maya Le Tissier netted United's opener from the penalty spot and Hanna Lundkvist levelled the scores at 2-2 before Tanikawa put the German side back in control.

Marc Skinner makes two changes to the Manchester United side that started Saturday’s 3-0 loss to Manchester City at Old Trafford.

In come Julia Zigiotti Olme and Fridolina Rolfo with Lisa Naalsund and Lea Schuller dropping to the bench.

Last week's match-winner Momoko Tanikawa starts in the only change to the Bayern Munich XI from the first leg.

The Japan midfielder replaces Arianna Caruso, who is among the substitutes for Jose Barcala's side.
