Chelsea have switched to a 4-4-2 after bringing on Sandy Baltimore and Niamh Charles for Erin Cuthbert and Kadeisha Buchanan.

Yet they are not in the back three they sometimes use under Sonia Bompastor.

The change pushes Lauren James up front alongside Sam Kerr, with Baltimore and Alyssa Thompson operating on the wings.

It leaves Chelsea without any experienced central defenders on the pitch, but they are committing players forward as they chase the game despite limited options on the bench.

Chelsea's Lauren James is booked for catching Katie McCabe, who had been on the ground after the pair had collided.

McCabe's OK to carry on.

Looks like the same formation for Chelsea but different personnnel. Charles has gone out to the left, Buurman has shifted inside to centre-back and Baltimore is in midfield.

A double change from Sonia Bompastor and Chelsea captain Erin Cuthbert comes off, handing the armband to Keira Walsh, with Kadeisha Buchanan also withdrawn.

Niamh Charles and Sandy Baltimore are the two to come on and have half an hour to turn this game around.

Defender Lucy Bronze runs on to a loose ball and tries a very optimistic piledriver from 30 yards out, but the ball sails over the bar. Sam Kerr is among those telling Bronze she would have preferred a pass instead.

Chelsea have started the second half well and Lauren James gets the ball on to her left foot and looks for the top corner from 20 yards out. She is not too far away either, as the ball lands on the roof of the net, and not inside it.

That was old school Sam Kerr latching onto a through ball and testing goalkeeper Daphne van Domselaar.

There has been talk her powers were waning as she took a while to get going upon her return from an anterior cruciate ligament injury but she looked quick, sharp and was unfortunate not to score there.

She just didn't find the corner but it was a good effort.

That is what Sam Kerr gives you - those runs that nobody else makes. It was a great pass from Sjoeke Nusken and it got plenty of people off their seats. Chelsea need more of that!

Great run from Kerr, and a good first touch but Fox does well to get herself back in. Van Domselaar is high off her line for the strike as well but it's a really, really good save.

Now Chelsea have had a shot on target. Sam Kerr thinks she is through on goal, but Emily Fox forces Kerr to check back, but the Australian still manages to swivel and get a powerful shot at goal.

Daphne van Domselaar has to be at her best to spring up and push it over the bar.

Arsenal's Caitlin Foord tries to go around the outside of Lucy Bronze, but the England defender does well to get her studs on the ball when making the challenge.

Another good piece of defending, we've seen plenty of that tonight.

Ultimately this is about Arsenal getting the job done. Chelsea have to get the first goal.

A free-kick would've been enough, but Carpenter also gets shown a soft yellow card.
