Maya Le Tissier throws her arms up and has a go at Franziska Kett, who is adamant she should have a penalty.

Le Tissier was holding back the Bayern winger, but it was minimal and the referee waves play on.

That would have been special. Fridolina Rolfo runs into the Bayern box from her own half, jinking past Georgia Stanway and Vanessa Giles, but her strike is blocked and has all the power taken out of it.

It was certainly an awkward one for Mahmutovic. She did well to watch the flight of the ball and tip it onto the bar. It's so difficult to get back and jump off your back foot to reach those ones.

I don't think Jess Park was going for goal there, but her cross had Ena Mahmutovic scrambling and the ball bounces off the Bayern crossbar.

Manchester United fans will be relieved to see Melvine Malard back on her feet after a hefty challenge with Linda Dallmann.

Bayern Munich are slowly growing into the game. They're seeing more of the ball and starting to look dangerous.

But Manchester United's defence has been able to cope with everything that's been thrown at them so far.

Malard has played such a key role. She is the one player up top for Manchester United, so she has to make it stick, and she has done every single time.

It just hasn't clicked for Bayern Munich so far. There was an opening there for the hosts, but Momoko Tanikawa's five-yard pass to Carolin Simon is a sloppy one and their attack fizzles out.

Bayern Munich won't be rattled. They get to this stage of the tournament every season, their eighth quarter-finals now. They know how to win them.

That's a great challenge by Millie Turner, who has to be careful as she slides in and stops Momoko Tanikawa in her tracks. And she somehow manages to get the goalkick.

Sensational run from Malard. It's poor defending from Bayern, not appying the pressure down the line, and it's a great strike. The momentum is with Manchester United.

Melvine Malard nearly has another!

She picks the ball up on the left and goes alone, darting towards the box before cutting inside and letting fly

Malard holdsthe run enough and knows that she can outmuscle Gilles. Then Mahmutovic comes out and should smash the ball away. Should she be there? No. There's two defenders pressing Malard.

The keeper takes her eyes off the ball and Malard gambles. Manchester United have been by far the better of the two teams.

Manchester United have penned Bayern into their own half in these opening 10 minutes and created chances. Looking good so far, but they need to make those opportunities count.

Linda Dallmann has a pop from the edge of the box and it bounces awkwardly for Phallon Tullis-Joyce, but the United keeper manages to get a fingertip to the ball and parry it around the post.

Up goes the offside flag. It wouldn't have counted anyway.
