The sunshine is in Jordan Pickford's eye, he throws an arm up towards it.

It's quite an average save for him this season but it is still a brilliant save.

  2. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 14:42 BST 19 April

    Nottingham Forest 0-0 Burnley

    Bad news for Nottingham Forest.

Just days after being withdrawn against Porto with a muscle injury, Murillo has pulled up again and is unable to continue.

The Brazilian defender is replaced by Jair Cunha.

  3. Postpublished at 14:42 BST 19 April

    Everton 0-1 Liverpool

    Excellent play from Cody Gakpo.

He gets some criticism for being too predictable by just cutting inside and looking for a shot - but this is the second time he's managed it to decent effect.

Jordan Pickford has to be alert to tip this one over the bar.

Liverpool are in front but they have not really been at it at all so far. They have really struggled to get Alexander Isak into the game.

With Everton's intensity perhaps just dropping a smidge as half-time approaches, the visitors might feel this is a chance to change that.

    Nottingham Forest 0-0 Burnley

    Kevin Nolan
Former Newcastle midfielder on 5 Sports Extra at The City Ground

The biggest save we've seen is Sels from Ward-Prowse's free-kick. Apart from that I don' think we've seen any real action around the goal mouth area.

Scott Parker will be the happier of the two managers, and rightly so because his team have played really well.

  6. Postpublished at 14:40 BST 19 April

    Nottingham Forest 0-0 Burnley

Forest are starting to move the ball with a bit more pace and purpose - as evidenced by the recent chance for Chris Wood.

It is no surprise that Forest started the game slower than usual after that gruelling Europa League second leg tie against Porto on Thursday.

    Aston Villa 2-1 Sunderland

    Rachel Corsie
Former Scotland captain on BBC Radio 5 Live

It's ridiculous play from Morgan Rogers on the left hand side, it looks like he overdoes it. Ollie Watkins really just lets it hit him almost, an easy finish.

Mohamed Salah scored in his first Merseyside derby back in 2017 and he's now scored in his last Merseyside derby.

No Liverpool player has scored more goals in Merseyside derbies in the Premier League era than the nine Salah has managed.

  9. Postpublished at 14:38 BST 19 April

    Everton 0-1 Liverpool

Virgil van Dijk is up to head the original corner away but Everton win the ball back and swing in another cross.

This one is half dealt with before Andy Robertson feels a nudge in the back from Beto, goes down and gets the free-kick. The Everton fans did not like that decision.

    Everton 0-1 Liverpool

The home crowd had gone a little quiet after the goal but they're up again now as Everton win a corner on the left.

A chance for James Garner to get the ball into the box.

    Ollie Watkins (36 mins)

Ollie Watkins puts Aston Villa in front again!

Morgan Rogers skips past a Sunderland defender on the left and plays in Ian Maatsen, who pulls the ball back brilliantly for Watkins to head in from the six-yard box.

Another easy finish for the Villa forward.

    Nottingham Forest 0-0 Burnley

For the first time this afternoon, Chris Wood has something to feed off.

The New Zealand international heads over after a wicked delivery to the back post from Neco Williams.

  14. 'Salah involved in the game now'published at 14:35 BST 19 April

    Everton 0-1 Liverpool

    Pat Nevin
Former Everton winger on BBC Radio 5 Live at Hill Dickinson Stadium

Brilliant players never stop being brilliant even if they get older.

You know if the ball falls to Salah in the final third, unlike the likes of Beto, that ball is probably going to end up in the back of the net and that has been the difference between these two teams this afternoon.

Salah hadn't been involved in the game but he is now.

  15. Postpublished at 14:35 BST 19 April

    Everton 0-1 Liverpool

Decent opening for Everton on the left but a heavy touch from Iliman Ndiaye allows Curtis Jones to nip and make the tackle inside the penalty area.

Controversial opinion maybe but if Moyes had a decent striker this Everton team could have been challenging for Champions League. Certainly Europa League. I could see him achieving silverware similar to what he achieved at West Ham.

  17. Postpublished at 14:33 BST 19 April

    Nottingham Forest 0-0 Burnley

James Ward-Prowse's attempt on goal after 24 minutes was the second longest wait for a shot in a Premier League game this season.

That is a pretty succinct way of summing up what has been served up at the City Ground so far.

Liverpool are not playing well, but they are ahead.

  19. Postpublished at 14:32 BST 19 April

    Everton 0-1 Liverpool

Another nervy moment for Everton as a long ball over the top sees Cody Gakpo running clear.

It doesn't quite come down for him though and Jordan Pickford is out to claim it.

  20. Who else but Salah?published at 14:32 BST 19 April

    Everton 0-1 Liverpool

    Aadam Patel
Football Reporter at the Hill Dickinson Stadium

Who else but Mohamed Salah? The home fans are silenced and the away end goes absolutely wild.

Dwight McNeil loses the ball carelessly but the ball from Cody Gakpo is perfect and Salah makes no mistake with his finish.
