Fair to say that Everton needed half-time more than Liverpool did. After Mohamed Salah's goal, David Moyes' side just haven't had that spark about them.

Burnley have caught Forest completely cold. It was on course to being an instantly forgettable first half but the Clarets have stunned the hosts - who desperately need to up their game.

Zian Flemming's ninth Premier League goal of the season has Burnely ahead at the break.

Boos from the home supporters at the City Ground as the Nottingham Forest players head down the tunnel.

A very well worked goal. I mentioned earlier that this is what Forest should be doing; attacking the sides.

Milenkovic was not able to deal with it and it was a bit of good play between Edwards and Anthony. A lovely cut back ball and Flemming was able to put it back in the direciton it came from.

That is probably the only realy bit of action we've seen from open play in the first half.

The visitors take an unlikely lead!

Defender Nikola Milenkovic fails to clear the ball with a poor header and Burnley are able to pick up the loose ball and switch it to the left.

The ball finds its way to Quilindschy Hartman and he crosses for Zian Flemming to finish from inside the area.

  6. HALF-TIMEpublished at 14:48 BST 19 April

    Everton 0-1 Liverpool

Dominik Szoboszlai with Liverpool's latest shot from 25 yards. It takes a big deflection, loops up and Jordan Pickford, after a brief juggle, can hold it.

Everton manage one last attack before the break but it ends with Dwight McNeil slicing a shot well wide and there goes the half-time whistle.

Mohamed Salah's goal is the difference at the break.

There's a bit of frustration around the stadium because the energy has dropped.

Liverpool are passing the ball and holding it. It has all come since the goal and it has knocked the stuffing out of the effervescence that Everton had before that.

  10. INJURY TIMEpublished at 14:47 BST 19 April

    Everton 0-1 Liverpool

We're into two added minutes with Liverpool having their best spell of the game so far.

They come forward again, Florian Wirtz finds Alexander Isak on the edge of the box and he manages to get a shot away.

Not enough on it, though, and Jordan Pickford saves comfortably.

A big block from Luke O'Nien to stop Ian Maatsen from creeping into the Sunderland box again. Ollie Watkins was ready and waiting in the middle of the box - he wants his hat-trick.

It doesn't look good for Murillo. As soon as that happened, you feared for the worst. He did well to recover but you saw right away that he clutched that hamstring really early.

A worry for Forest with Murillo coming off injured, not just for this afternoon but for their Europa League ambitions, with the first leg of their semi final with Aston Villa in less than two weeks.

    Nottingham Forest 0-0 Burnley

Nottingham Forest win a free-kick in a crossing position after a foul from Florentino Luis on Elliott Anderson.

Anderson's delivery has too much on it, though, and drifts wide of his team-mates.

Alexander Isak has just had his third touch and it's a brilliant one to take the ball down from the sky and lay it off to Florian Wirtz.

It shows the quality is still there if Liverpool can bring him into the action more often.

Maybe Tuchel should have dropped Ollie Watkins earlier. If we had THIS Watkins all season, we would be in a title race.

Oooh. Aston Villa get away with one there.

It's a dreadful clearance by Tyrone Mings and the ball bounces up nicely for Noah Sadiki, but Amadou Onana gets an important touch to take it out for a corner.

  20. Two touches for Isakpublished at 14:43 BST 19 April

There's always the argument that a striker doesn't need many touches as long as they're scoring but Alexander Isak has only had two touches in this half. Liverpool are ahead but that's nowhere near good enough.
