  1. 'Did anyone think Salah would miss?'published at 14:31 BST 19 April

    Everton 0-1 Liverpool

    Pat Nevin
Former Everton winger on BBC Radio 5 Live at Hill Dickinson Stadium

Just exactly where Mo Salah wants the ball to land.

Dwight McNeil gives the ball away and the entire midfield is out of position.

It's a lovely ball through and did anyone in this ground think Mo Salah was going to miss from his favourite position?

Just curls it around the goalkeeper with his left foot from about six or seven yards.

  2. Postpublished at 14:30 BST 19 April

    Aston Villa 1-1 Sunderland

A corner routine straight off the Sunderland training ground but it's got a tad too much whip on it and it's out of play before Nordi Mukiele can connect with the header at the back post.

What a difference a couple of minutes make!

Mohamed Salah scores in his final Merseyside derby! Cody Gakpo had just come close after a lovely pass fro Florian Wirtz.

Jordan Pickford saved that one but he has no chance here. Dwight McNeil is caught in possession, Gakpo comes inside and plays a ball through to Salah.

He's in acres of space and calmly slots past the Everton goalkeeper.

    Aston Villa 1-1 Sunderland

    Rachel Corsie
Former Scotland captain on BBC Radio 5 Live

The opening stages were a bit frantic and end to end. It's developed a bit more balance, both teams figuring out possession and trying to break each other down.

It is quite subdued at the City Ground. Not much to get excited about on the pitch with both sides lacking quality and, so far, the real desire to take control of the game.

  6. DISALLOWED GOALpublished at 14:26 BST 19 April

    Iliman Ndiaye

liman Ndiaye of Everton celebrates with his teammates scoring a goalImage source, Getty Images

    It had been coming!

Iliman Ndiaye with the first Merseyside derby goal at the Hill Dickinson Stadium and you can't say Everton don't deserve it.

Jake O'Brien with the cross from the right and Ndiaye has time to take it down and slot past Giorgi Mamardashvili.

But hold on... after a VAR check it looks like O'Brien was offside and the goal is chalked off.

    Aston Villa 1-1 Sunderland

After an entertaining start at Villa Park, the pace has slowed slightly and both teams have been a bit sloppy in possession.

  8. Postpublished at 14:26 BST 19 April

    Everton 0-0 Liverpool

More good play from Iliman Ndiaye and Curtis Jones needs to make an important interception to shot the pass getting through to Beto.

Everton are in the ascendancy here and Virgil van Dijk is required to head away Jake O'Brien's long throw.

  9. Postpublished at 14:26 BST 19 April

    Nottingham Forest 0-0 Burnley

After breaking free from two Nottingham Forest players, Marcus Edwards wins a free‑kick in a promising position as he is brought down by Elliott Anderson.

James Ward‑Prowse takes it and forces a strong save from Matz Selz.

  10. Postpublished at 14:25 BST 19 April

    Everton 0-0 Liverpool

    Things are heating up!

A couple of big - but fair - challenges from Everton are roared by the home fans before Dominik Szoboszlai fouls Iliman Ndiaye.

There's a bit of afters and players from both sides get involved.

Nothing much to it, though, and the original Everton free-kick is all that comes from it.

People say that we (Liverpool) are in transition and that Slot needs time, but surely a good coach delivers with the players he has. In most games this season we seem so lethargic, with little energy. It’s so slow and predictable. It’s depressing & disappointing to watch.

  12. YELLOW CARDpublished at 14:23 BST 19 April

    Everton 0-0 Liverpool

Virgil van Dijk makes the most obvious foul we'll see today on Idrissa Gueye on the edge of the Everton box and the home players are screaming for a yellow card.

Well, they get one... for Jordan Pickford for dissent.

  13. How can Forest break down the Clarets?published at 14:22 BST 19 April

    Nottingham Forest 0-0 Burnley

    Kevin Nolan
Former Newcastle midfielder on 5 Sports Extra at The City Ground

Burnley will be really pleased with how it's going at the moment. Dubravka hasn't had a save to make, they have been comfortable sat in that low block and they have waited for their opportunities to play.

At the minute, Forest's best chance [of scoring] looks like it would be taking the ball off Burnley and counter-attacking.

  14. Postpublished at 14:21 BST 19 April

    Nottingham Forest 0-0 Burnley

Better from Burnley as Jaidon Anthony wrestles free of Ola Aina down the left and crosses into the box.

Although his cross was cleared by Murillo, it was much more threatening from the visitors.

  15. Postpublished at 14:21 BST 19 April

    Aston Villa 1-1 Sunderland

    Rachel Corsie
Former Scotland captain on BBC Radio 5 Live

Sometimes the basics can be overlooked but having that structure and discipline, it gives you a very good grounding to go on and be competitive.

Sunderland have really impressed many people with that work ethic, it's such a solid foundation that's so difficult to overcome.

  16. Postpublished at 14:21 BST 19 April

    Everton 0-0 Liverpool

Cody Gakpo cuts in from the left and works a yard of space.

His shot is on target but James Tarkowski gets a foot on it to send it behind for another corner.

  17. Postpublished at 14:18 BST 19 April

    Everton 0-0 Liverpool

Decent in-swinging corner from Mohamed Salah but Jordan Pickford does well to punch it away under pressure from Ibrahima Konate.

  18. 'Really open game'published at 14:18 BST 19 April

    Everton 0-0 Liverpool

    Pat Nevin
Former Everton winger on BBC Radio 5 Live at Hill Dickinson Stadium

It is a really open game but the best chances so far have been Everton's.

It's what you want in a derby game or any game, chaos!

  19. Postpublished at 14:18 BST 19 April

    Everton 0-0 Liverpool

Liverpool's best move of the match as Ryan Gravenberch drives through the middle.

He finds Mohamed Salah, who threads the ball through to Florian Wirtz.

The German tries to cut it back but Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall puts it behind for a corner.

  20. Parker looking dapperpublished at 14:17 BST 19 April

    Nottingham Forest 0-0 Burnley

    Kevin Nolan
Former Newcastle midfielder on 5 Sports Extra at The City Ground

I played with Parker at West Ham and let me tell you he is definitely the smartest [dressed] player I have ever played with. He'd come in like he was going on a dinner date every day! I am not surpised to see him dressed like that on the touchline.

What a great lad, he has done a great job at Burnley. He was probably way ahead of schedule in terms of getting them into the Premier League but he will have learnt a lot this season.
