  1. 'Cardiff dominant in the second half'published at 16:23 GMT 20 December 2025

    Lincoln 1-1 Cardiff

    Michael Hortin
    Assistant Editor, BBC Radio Lincolnshire

It's been a little bit cling-on for Lincoln City with around 20 minutes to go.

I think we were rightly critical of Cardiff in the first half, but they have shown up in this second half.

  2. goal

GOAL: Leyton Orient 2-0 Bradfordpublished at 16:22 GMT 20 December 2025

    Dom Ballard (58 mins)

    A double for Dom!

Dom Ballard has now scored at either end of his body as he follows up his header with a sumptuous strike from the box to batter the top corner.

  3. League One updatepublished at 16:21 GMT 20 December 2025

It's going very well for Exeter City this afternoon.

Jayden Wareham prods in Luca Woodhouse's corner delivery to give the Grecians a 2-0 lead over Barnsley.

  4. CLOSE!published at 16:21 GMT 20 December 2025

    Wycombe 2-1 Bolton

Xavier Simons thought he'd equalised for Bolton for all the world.

After a Trotters corner had come back off the bar his volley squeezed through the body of keeper Will Norris but the veteran was able to spin and snatch the ball back to prevent it crossing the line.

Fleetwood celebrate a goalImage source, Shutterstock

Fleetwood are level with Gillingham, Ryan Graydon with the effort on 53 minutes to make it 1-1.

Michael Mellon has a two-goal league haul for Oldham to give them a 2-1 lead over Tranmere.

Salford remain 2-0 up against Barnet, Colchester lead by the same margin against Newport and MK Dons are coasting 3-0 up against Harrogate.

Chesterfield's Lee Bonis has broken the stalemate against Shrewsbury to give them a 1-0 lead.

  6. CLOSE!published at 16:19 GMT 20 December 2025

    Lincoln 1-1 Cardiff

    And still the Bluebirds come...

Omari Kellyman has seen a header hacked off the Lincoln line by Tom Hamer while George Wickens has made a fine save to deny Ryan Wintle the goal which would complete the turnaround.

  7. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 16:17 GMT 20 December 2025

    Leyton Orient 1-1 Bradford

Leyton Orient aren't having a good day with injuries.

They've got another player down and unable to continue having already lost Tayo Adaramola in the first-half.

Theo Archibald is the one to be afflicted on this occasion, who has already missed much of the season with a serious knee injury and will be gutted to see his comeback affected.

Demetri Mitchell needs to jog on earlier than intended.

  8. 'Challenging half for Lincoln'published at 16:16 GMT 20 December 2025

    Lincoln 1-1 Cardiff

    Michael Hortin
    Assistant Editor, BBC Radio Lincolnshire

It's going to be a very challenging second half. This is what we expected the game to be like for Lincoln.

It's about what you can do to stem Cardiff. It feels like Lincoln's energy levels have dipped a little bit, they look a bit fatigued out there.

  9. Postpublished at 16:15 GMT 20 December 2025

    Wycombe 2-1 Bolton

Bolton pressing to get back on terms as George Johnston sends Thierry Gale clear but his low ball into the mixer is deflected out of the path of the lurking Sam Dalby by the desperate lunge of a back-tracking defender.

  10. Postpublished at 16:13 GMT 20 December 2025

    Rotherham 0-3 Huddersfield

Huddersfield aren't settling for three.. Leo Castledine has come close to a second headed goal with an effort from an Alfie May cross which flies past Cameron Dawson's upright.

  11. goal

GOAL: Swindon 1-0 Crawleypublished at 16:12 GMT 20 December 2025

    Ollie Palmer (53 mins pen)

Finlay Munroe draws a foul from Dion Pereira in the penalty area, the referee points to the spot (and sticks with it this time).

Ollie Palmer steps up to dispatch the kick calmly to the bottom left corner with his right foot as Swindon take the lead.

Harvey Davies (Crawley) was shown the yellow card for his part in the official remonstrations.

  12. GREAT SAVE!published at 16:10 GMT 20 December 2025

    Lincoln 1-1 Cardiff

All Cardiff now as Alex Robertson's curling effort is tipped away by the flying George Wickens while Cian Ashford has fired another effort past the post.

  13. 'Sensational goal'published at 16:07 GMT 20 December 2025

    Lincoln 1-1 Cardiff

    Michael Hortin
    Assistant Editor, BBC Radio Lincolnshire

    It's a sensational goal.

We said in the first half we hadn't seen a lot from them as league leaders and that was the first bit of quality we've seen.

You have to take your hat off and say that was an exceptional goal.

  14. goal

GOAL: Lincoln 1-1 Cardiffpublished at 16:07 GMT 20 December 2025

    Perry Ng (49 mins)

The leaders are back in it...

Lovely goal too as Perry Ng and Yousef Salech neatly exchange passes in the box before Ng finished past George Wickens.

Can they come from behind for a second straight week to make it six straight league wins?

  15. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 16:06 GMT 20 December 2025

    Lincoln 1-0 Cardiff

Ronan Kpakio has been sent-on by Brian Barry-Murphy at the break, in place of Joel Bagan, who got the dramatic winner last time out.

Cardiff almost conceded a second before the break as Tom Bayliss and Jack Moylan were denied by Matthew Turner and BBM knows he has to turn the tide.

  16. KICK-OFFpublished at 16:03 GMT 20 December 2025

    #bbcefl

Away we go again... a big 45 minutes for many of the 30 sides in action this afternoon.

Who will go into Christmas on a high? We'll know in 45 minutes or so...

  17. 'A Christmas cracker this is not'published at 16:01 GMT 20 December 2025

    HT: Swindon 0-0 Crawley

    Ben Mundy
BBC Final Score reporter at The Nigel Eady County Ground

All I want for Christmas is ... a goal.

Swindon, knowing a win by two would take them top, have been well off it. Nowhere near the levels they reached in last weekend’s win at Bristol Rovers.

But credit to Crawley. The visitors, looking for a first win in six, have been the better side.

Josh Flint and Ryan Loft with decent chances.

A Christmas cracker this is not.

  18. 'Lincoln need to keep it up'published at 15:59 GMT 20 December 2025

    HT: Lincoln 1-0 Cardiff

    Michael Hortin
    Assistant Editor, BBC Radio Lincolnshire

What really stood out to me was Lincoln started to bully Cardiff in the final five minutes, they need to go out and do that in the second half.

Jack Moylan, it wasn't his goal but he caused the problems for Cardiff which lead to the goal.

  20. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:52 GMT 20 December 2025

    Rotherham 0-3 Huddersfield

A dream half for Huddersfield, Lee Grant and Lynden Gooch in particular.

Gooch scored the opener and then set-up Bojan Radulovic to loop the second and Leo Castledine to head the third.

The Terriers are heading for a first win in six games and a push back towards the top six.
