The crowd appreciate that Wolves have started quite well. They build their play with a back three and thjey get width.

Brentford

Brentford manager Thomas Frank, speaking to BBC Match of the Day, about his side scoring inside the opening minute for a third successive league game: "I can't tell you [the secret]. It must be a world record, three games in a row under 40 seconds - it's unbelievable.

"We had a plan again, it's a mindset of playing forward and trying to get on the game straight away. I'm very pleased with that."

On Bryan Mbeumo's great start to the season: "Bryan is on fire, no doubt about that. He has been carrying the team in many ways, scoring goals and creating opportunities.

"I think he has five goals now and he is improving so much."

On the performance: "It's a good point. I'm always disappointed if we don't get three. We were the better team for 75 minutes.

"West Ham out-powered us for 15 minutes at the start of the second half. If you take into consideration that we have nine first team players out, we had nothing to shoot with.

"Going forward I am positive. If you can play like this against a good West Ham side then I am confident it will work out.

"What I like from my team was the mentality. We kept going forward."

A good chance for Liverpool to break but Dominik Szoboszlai's pass to Mohamed Salah is poor. The Hungarian could have put him through there.

Leicester City

Leicester boss Steve Cooper, speaking to BBC Match of the Day: "Tough one to take to be fair. Proud of the second half performance particularly. If it's a team that's not together, they can really go under after the first-half but it was great to score as early as we did in the second half and then go to 2-2.

"You know you are going to suffer here at time against a really good time like Arsenal at the Emirates but I felt like we were coping really well. To have that deflection for the third goal is just a bit of where our luck is but then the fourth goal is against the run of play.

"It's another loss and the results always write the narrative but there was so much to be positive about, particularly in the second half and we've got to try and keep going keep capitalising on what is going okay and just improve."

On what was said at half-time: "Just to stick with it to be honest. It was disappointing with the way we concede the goals because they are typical Arsenal goals with the cut-backs, we've done a lot of work trying to deal with that. I don't want to make the headlines around referees because I'm trying to take responsibility for a team trying to do better in the Premier League but it's a clear foul on Jamie Vardy for the first goal and the left-back [Riccardo Calafiori] has to get sent off for a second yellow but there's so much more we could say, the whole game knows but I'm not going down that road today."

On James Justin's second goal: "Great goal, straight off one of the moves that we work on in terms of where we want people to get the ball. It's a brilliant finish. Good to see that come off. Just a pity that it didn't mean more in the game."

On Mads Hermansen's saves: "We're really happy with Mads, he's a talented young goalkeeper and he is on the right path. He didn't deserve to concede that third goal with the deflection but it can happen unfortunately. He didn't deserve to concede a goal like that, neither did the rest of the guys.

"You have to stand up, you have to keep believing in what you are doing. These are the demands of the Premier League. We fell on the wrong side today."

Chelsea

Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca: "It was a good game. Probably we struggled in some moments of the game but I think this kind of game the team needed also to learn.

"I prefer to have more possession! But we struggled a little bit at the beginning of the game, we conceded possession because they surprised us a bit tactically, but overall we were quite good.

"I know Cole Palmer from many years ago, I had him at Manchester City in the under-23s. The best thing is the way he is as a human is the same way. This doesn't change his life and that is the best thing for him.

"You'd have to be blind if you didn't see those kind of things with Cole. I said that he scored four but he could have scored more, I say always to be ambitious and hungry to score more."

Everton

Everton boss Sean Dyche speaking to MOTD: "I’m a custodian here, I have to answer to a lot here. In the in-between spell of ownership and now it looks like there’s going to be a new owner.

"We don’t know for sure and I’m sure its very complicated to get these deals done. We will have to see what it brings and all we can do in the meantime is continue to work hard, which me, my staff and the players are doing.

"Correct the league table, which we’ve taken a step forward in doing today and make sure we look after what the club is about and we’ll need to wait and see what the new owner brings.

"In terms of my job, I’ve never lost sight about the fact that I’ve got to get it right on the pitch in order to win games."

West Ham United

West Ham manager Julen Lopetegui, speaking to BBC Match of the Day: "We knew that we had a very tough match, they won both matches here against Southampton and Crystal Palace and we suffered by conceding in the first minute.

"We showed this [Brentford's record of scoring early] to the players and it's incredible we suffered. It's a bad picture to conceded so early.

"We kept calm and I think we deserved to win the match in the second half, we showed character and commitment.

"We had three or four very clear situations to score a second goal but we didn't manage it and we take a point. I have to keep positive.

"We always have to work as a team or we are weaker - I think we did this in the second half."

On Konstantinos Mavropanos, who came on at half-time: "He did very, very well. He showed good personality.

"He has been doing a good job here and for the team."

On remaining unbeaten away from home: "Away we show big character and personality but we want that at home too. We want to win for our fans."

Liverpool right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold is booked for kicking the ball away as Wolves prepare to take a free-kick.

Now he has to play on a yellow card for 83 minutes. Not his best decision.

It was good interlinking play and Gomes shaped it well - Virigl van Dijk had to be on his guard.

Liverpool captain Virgil van Dijk isn't happy that his team-mates allowed a cross to come in from the left wing. He dealt with it though.

Brentford

Brentford goalscorer Bryan Mbeumo, speaking to PLP: "A bit frustrating because I think we played well in the first half but they were strong after half time.

"[Thomas Frank] told us that if we can't win then just don't lose.

"We need to work on a few phases in the game and come back stronger next week."

On scoring his 50th league goal for Brentford: "Very proud. I love to help the team by scoring or assisting."

On facing Wolves next: "We need to keep the mistakes down and work a lot."

"We were much more aggressive, especially in the second half. We need these kind of performances.

"When the fans sang my song, I know I have a great connection. In the last few weeks, in my country, the media said the West Ham fans did not like me."

On conceding in the opening minute: "We have to be embarrassed. We saw how they scored those two goals [in the opening minute against Tottenham and Manchester City] and they did it against us.

"We all prepared very well for it and we still conceded. We had to chase the result for another 90 minutes."

On facing Ipswich next: "We play in front of our own fans, we lost our first three home games so we need to give them hope that we can be successful. We want to get three points before the international break."
