Starting the second half the way we did, conceding the first goal makes things harder and then with the equaliser the team showed unbelievable character to keep pushing, creating chance after chance. We suffered more than we should have but this is football. Really happy with the team.

On the mentality of his side: "Great. How we handled the situation, we felt it should have been many more and it wasn't and suddenly it is 2-2 but we had to deal with a very good team with difficult circumstances and we stayed really composed. We had a lot of clarity, understanding what we had to do and we kept doing what we had to do and we earned the right to win it. James Justin scored an unbelievable, world class goal."

On scoring two goals in stoppage time: "Now we are really happy but we could have been in a very different position because of the two goals we conceded but certainty with the performance we have to be super happy."

On the chances of the match ending in a draw: "There's always a possibility, this is the Premier League, every team has got unbelievable resources to create issues and today they scored two goals out of very little but this is the quality that they have."

Fulham

Fulham boss Marco Silva says Raul Jimenez has apologised for taking the ball off designated taker Andreas Pereira. Silva told Premier League Productions: "Andreas Pereira was the penalty taker for the moment. It is not Andreas' fault but it is clearly the fault of Raul.

"It is already decided. It is already sorted. It is not going to happen again. Has Raul apologised? Yes. He had to because he knows the rules and how important discipline is in our squad."

Sometimes it is good to get some possession - you cannot go forward every time.

You don't want to get into a basketball match with Liverpool with the pace, power and athleticism they have got it becomes difficult.

Jean-Ricner Bellegarde almost picks out Jorgen Strand Larsen with a through ball into the box but Ibrahima Konate cuts it out.

Warning signs for Wolves.

Sam Johnstone has looked shaky while trying to play out from the back, conceding a corner having earlier been bailed out by Mario Lemina after a loose pass.

Gary O'Neil has also been frustrated by the goalkeeper's slow release of the ball. Liverpool are yet to make inroads but Wolves are making problems for themselves.

You wouldn't guess Wolves are bottom on one point so far based on this performance. They've been fairly positive.

Chelsea

Chelsea's Cole Palmer, speaking to MOTD after scoring four goals against Brighton: "I should have had five or six!

"When I missed the first chance I was upset but with the way they played and their high line I felt we'd get more chances.

"The manager set up a good game plan, we knew how to attack them with first-time passes in behind.

"Brighton are a good team, pass the ball well. They play similar to us. Three points is what we needed and that is what we got.

"I try and play every game the best I can."

On Theo Walcott comparing him to Dennis Bergkamp: "I know he is a legend in the Premier League but I didn't really watch him, I was too young. I have seen clips, he was a top player so thank you Theo Walcott!"

Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca speaking to Match of the Day: "A very good win, we could have done better in some moments of the game but overall we deserved to win. It is a game the team needs to learn to improve things so overall a fantastic day for me.

"He [Cole Palmer] scored four, I told him he could have scored two or three more. I knew Cole from years ago at City, he is a top player and just has to continue in the same way.

"The two goals we conceded can happen. The important thing is the team continue in the same way, creating many chances. We are happy.

"We can probably read the moment better. We were 1-0 down then 3-1 up and maybe in that moment it is better not to take a risk.

"We have many players, during the week we played in the cup and then now. There are minutes for everyone.

"I was more focused on the way the team progressed rather than results. We are ahead in my expectation in the way we want to play."
