Forest will take a point because they know it will make sure they are safe and they will be playing in the Premier League next season, and with the injuries that they've got. It is up to Newcastle to take the game to them, and they have had chances, particularly the Osula one.

As well as completing at least 11 more passes than any other player in the first half (41), Ezri Konsa was the only player with a 100% pass accuracy.

Konsa making a late push to be England's number 10 at the World Cup?

Tarkowski and Keane doesn’t work. That’s 10 conceded in past 4.5 games. O’Brien a far more accomplished CB. Garner at RB would give us more of a threat going forward. Next season we should not see Keane or Mykolenko in a starting 11. No more than squad players.

Really good second half of the first half for Villa. Good from Burnley to start the game, full of energy as we've said. Got a goal up, massive chance for Zian Flemming to potentially go 2-0 up. He misses it and then Villa come back at Burnley and then the offside goal was a tight call. Barkley gets the equaliser from a corner. A fair result on that balance of play.

Woltemade is having a mare, but after the way he’s been treated this season, his confidence is likely to be on the floor… we need to stick with him.

    HT: Crystal Palace 1-1 Everton

Everton are level at half-time in the Premier League for the third match in a row.

But after defeats to West Ham and Arsenal, can David Moyes' side turn the tide in their favour in the second half?

There is an end-of-season feel to this one. There have been sloppy passes, wayward crosses and one or two wasted chances. It's not been a classic.

Dilane Bakwa has looked bright, though, and it is noticeable how often Nottingham Forest are having the rapid forward run at Dan Burn down Newcastle United's left-hand side.

You suspect Newcastle head coach Eddie Howe will be demanding a lot more at the break. His side have lacked a cutting edge.

  9. HALF-TIMEpublished at 14:49 BST 10 May

A good response after a sluggish start from Aston Villa as both sides head down the tunnel level.

    Burnley 1-1 Aston Villa

Aston Villa go hunting for a second goal in the final stages of the first half.

Youri Tielemans' free-kick is aimed at the head of Tyrone Mings but the defender is knocked off balance by Axel Tuanzebe and can't connect.

We spoke about John McGinn's corners and is he actually trying to do that? I think he is, he's just done the same thing but a little bit higher. Ross Barkley on the end of it, and managed to flick it over with his head into the far corner. Kyle Walker tried to clear it on the back post.

You've got to score, Osula. It's brilliant play from Woltemade and Osula's movement is brilliant, but once the keeper comes rushing out he has to be dinking that finish.

  19. Postpublished at 14:43 BST 10 May

The striker's effort is powerful but Matz Sels makes a good save.
