There was a nice two or three passes in the build-up to the goal.

The next five or 10 minutes will be really important. Don't do anything stupid, don't let Charlton back into it.

  5. Postpublished at 20:14 GMT 17 February

    Bristol City 0-0 Wrexham

Neto Borges sends a lovely ball into the box for his Bristol City team-mate who's at the far corner, but the forward seems to be caught a bit off guard and can't react quick enough to get on the end of it.

  6. Low key startpublished at 20:10 GMT 17 February

    Bristol City 0-0 Wrexham

    Ian Mitchelmore
    BBC Sport Wales

With no shots on target, the two sides have a combined xG of 0.02 so far, emphasising the lack of goal mouth action in the opening quarter or so of this match.

Wrexham are improving though. They're enjoying a good spell of possession without giving the Robins too much to think about defensively.

  7. goal

GOAL: Charlton 0-1 Portsmouthpublished at 20:08 GMT 17 February

    Terry Devlin (21 mins)

Charlton keeper Thomas Kaminski won't want to see that one again...

Terry Devlin runs towards the box and has plenty of time to take a strike from distance which goes straight at the Addicks' stopper and somehow bobbles underneath him straight into the back of the net.

Wrexham aren't really hurting City but you just feel they have a bit more control of the game.

They're making City defend when they get the ball out wide, they're making sure they get good balls into the box.

  9. Postpublished at 20:07 GMT 17 February

    Charlton 0-0 Portsmouth

Two good blocks by Portsmouth's Ebou Adams as Charlton try and find some space in and around the box.

  10. Postpublished at 20:04 GMT 17 February

    Bristol City 0-0 Wrexham

Not a huge amount between these sides at the moment, no real shots and 50-50 in terms of possession.

That's probably what you'd expect from two sides separated by just a point in the table.

  11. YELLOW CARDpublished at 20:02 GMT 17 February

    Charlton 0-0 Portsmouth

Not even 15 minutes gone but two Charlton players have already gone in the book.

Charlton's top scorer Sonny Carey does really well as he's picked out in the box by Harry Clarke, he cuts back inside while shaking off a defender to make himself some space to take a shot.

But his final effort is way off target.

  13. 'Good start from Pompey'published at 19:58 GMT 17 February

    Charlton 0-0 Portsmouth

    Glen Little
Ex-Portsmouth winger on BBC Radio Solent

It's been a really good start from Pompey, they're looking very confident.

They don't look like a team towards the bottom end of the table battling relegation, but it's all about winning games.

  14. Postpublished at 19:57 GMT 17 February

    Bristol City 0-0 Wrexham

A bit of danger for Wrexham as Bristol City work the ball down the right and Mark Sykes sends a teasing cross into the box.

It bounces out to Neto Borges outside the area but his shot from distance comfortably misses the target.

  15. Fan battlepublished at 19:56 GMT 17 February

    Bristol City 0-0 Wrexham

    Ian Mitchelmore
    BBC Sport Wales

The standard England v Wales chants between the two sets of fans have been the highlight of the early stages of this contest.

Not much doing on the pitch as of yet, aside from that wayward strike from Neto Borges.

Credit to both sets of supporters, a great turnout for a cold Tuesday night.

  16. YELLOW CARDpublished at 19:55 GMT 17 February

    Charlton 0-0 Portsmouth

Harry Clarke has gone into the referee's book just seven minutes in and it's a bit of a silly one, for kicking the ball away after the whistle went for a foul and free-kick.

Wrexham come into tonight's match having won four successive away Championship matches, their best ever run at this level.

The Red Dragons haven't won five consecutive away league games in the Football League since the 2002-03 campaign.

They did however win six away league fixtures in succession en route to winning the National League title under Phil Parkinson in 2022-23.

    Charlton 0-0 Portsmouth

    Glen Little

It's all action in the first couple of minutes.

That's a big save early on from Schmid.
