There is no chance Andrich finishes this match. He is going to be subbed or sent off by half-time - he'll have a "Kinsky" of a game.

A really strong start from Arsenal.

Viktor Gyokeres has had a couple of bright moments and caused Robert Andrich problems.

Andrich has brought Gyokeres down twice and is maybe lucky to not get a second yellow card for the foul.

    Matt Upson
Former Arsenal defender on BBC Radio 5 Live at BayArena

It's a shocking start to the game for Andrich, we're two minutes in. His decision-making there, getting that tight to Gyokeres, you can not do that.

There's no point trying to wrestle him in that position, you're not going to win. Gyokeres used his body really well and just rolled him.

He's now got the rest of the game on a yellow card.

    Bayer Leverkusen 0-0 Arsenal

Bayer Leverkusen captain Robert Andrich is booked for hauling Viktor Gyokeres to the floor on the edge of his own penalty area.

A chance for Bukayo Saka early on with the free-kick but his effort deflects wide.

Andrich's yellow card is the earliest issued in the Champions League this term.

Bukayo Saka is flagged offside after just 20 seconds as Arsenal look to put the hosts under pressure.

The England winger is making his 25th appearance in the Champions League this evening and is one of only 13 players to have 20+ goals/assists combined in their first 25 games (12 goals, 8 assists).

    Matthew Upson
Former Arsenal defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

The Champions League isn't used to Arsenal's style of football, I think you do get a different type of game. The Premier League is trying to adapt to their set-pieces and their physicality.

They have a big impact in this competition and their form this season is ten out of ten.

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta speaking to TNT Sports about the two-legged last-16 tie: "We always have the same mindset to win the game and be as dominant as we can. They have a lot of resources to cause you problems. They have very clear intentions. The line-up shows what they want to do."

On pre-match preparations: "The final words, understanding their line-up and the intentions and where the opportunities are for us. Plus passing on clear messages to players.

"Football is about duels. You have to win duels, dominant territory and dominate the ball possession. That's what you want."

On Leandro Trossard's absence: "He wasn't feeling quite right so we left him out."

Following this fixture, Guardiola will only trail Carlo Ancelotti (218) on the list of most Champions League games by managers.
