    Paris St-Germain v Chelsea

    Chelsea

Chelsea will face Paris St-Germain in their last-16 tie.

And the two teams know each other well having met in the final of the Club World Cup last summer when the Blues ran out 3-0 winners against Luis Enrique's side.

They have faced each other eight times in the Champions League including in the 2013-14 quarter-finals when Chelsea overturned a 3-1 first-leg deficit to progress on away goals.

Indeed, Arsenal have avoided what looks to be the tougher side of the draw.

The Gunners could face Sporting or Bodo/Glimt in the quarter‑finals if they defeat Bayer Leverkusen.

Then potentially Newcastle/Barcelona or Atletico Madrid/Tottenham in the semi‑finals.

Crucially, they dodge PSG, Liverpool, Real Madrid, Manchester City, Bayern Munich and Chelsea - all of whom are packed together on the other side of the bracket, the so‑called 'silver path'.

    Greg, Derby

Arsenal with a great route to the semi final again.

    Neil, Essex

Arsenal with the best draw they could have hoped for. Play Leverkusen and Bodo/Sporting to reach SF whereas City play Madrid and Bayern. Helps them in title race too if city progress.

Be interesting to see if City and Arsenal can meet in the Quarter Finals leading to them playing four times in four weeks (five if the FA Cup QF draws the same scenario). Then will see who is really the best.

When will the draw actually start, you ask?

How things usually work in this Uefa draws is that a couple of montages set the scene for things to follow and then we could be hearing from the officials and a couple of special guests who will take us through the draw.

There is a traditional but long-winded explanation of the rules of the draw, which is happening right now, before we finally get to the actual draw.

But the good news? We have the Europa League draw to follow at 12:00 GMT, so the Champions League one should be done and dusted well before that.

Uefa's deputy general secretary Giorgio Marchetti is on the stage with the introductions.

And he's called up Ivan Rakitic, the former Barcelona and Croatia midfielder and a Champions League winner in 2015, to help conduct the draw.

  20. English team v English team?published at 11:04 GMT 27 February

Yep, that's right, Newcastle and Chelsea can draw each other in the last 16 of the Champions League.

The Magpies will take on either Chelsea or Barcelona in the next round, despite already playing the Spaniard's in the league phase.

If Newcastle come through that, they'll then face either Liverpool or Spurs in the last eight.
