  1. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 13:02 GMT 21 February

    Stoke 1-0 Leicester

    OOOOOH SO CLOSE!

Leicester gift free-kick master Sorba Thomas a free-kick and it's another great delivery from the Stoke man.

Tatsuki Seko gets on it and shoots, rattling the crossbar but deflecting out and the follow-up can only go wide.

    Hull City 0-1 QPR

QPR win a second corner down their right.

Harvey Vale swings it in as he did before for the goal... and this one flies over everyone.

  3. Vipotnik delivers againpublished at 13:00 GMT 21 February

    Swansea 1-0 Bristol City

    Gareth Vincent
BBC Sport Wales at the Swansea.com Stadium

Swansea have offered little going forward up until this point and yet they lead having taken their first chance of the day.

Zan Vipotnik's finish was calm and accurate, which is what Swansea fans have come to expect this season.

That is 16 league goals in 2025-26 for the Championship's leading marksman.

The frustration for Bristol City will be their failure to clear before the ball dropped to Vipotnik in the penalty area.

    A STRONG kit

A strange game this. No real intensity or tempo to the play at all. Coventry are obviously happy with a one-goal lead for now while West Brom look devoid of any threat whatsoever.

  5. 'Monga is giving Cresswell the space'published at 12:59 GMT 21 February

    Stoke 1-0 Leicester

    Matt Piper
Former Foxes winger on BBC Radio Leicester

The thing with Jeremy Monga is that on the ball he is ok, he hasn't got involved too much, but he's been alright, but off the ball, because of his inexperience, he is giving Aaron Cresswell the space and making his afternoon quite simple so far.

    Who else?!

Zan Vipotnik has his 19th goal for club and country this season with a thumping finish.

  7. GREAT SAVE!published at 12:56 GMT 21 February

    Stoke 1-0 Leicester

That's some superb save from Foxes keeper Asmir Begovic!

Aaron Cresswell fires from outside the box and not only does it have plenty of wicked pace, it also catches a blue shirt to deflect out of the path of the shot stopper.

It doesn't affect Begovic though, who keeps his concentration to reach it with his fingertips and deny another goal.

  8. goal

Paddy McNair (own goal) (22 mins)

The ball goes in the net as Hull and QPR players watch onImage source, PA Media

    What has gone on here?!

Harvey Vale swings in a corner from the R's right and Ivor Pandur in the Tigers net crashes into his own striker Oli McBurnie as he looks to punch it away.

It goes over both of them and it bounces in off either Paddy McNair for an own goal or, possibly, Jimmy Dunne for his fourth goal of the season.

    Bizarre.

    Stoke 1-0 Leicester

Bae Junho does so well to evade his shadowing defender on the left flank and flash in a cross but while his fancy footwork might get the better of one Leicester player, it doesn't boggle the mind of goalkeeper Asmir Begovic.

The Bosnia international gets down low to smother the cross before it reaches some dangerous feet.

  10. Postpublished at 12:53 GMT 21 February

    West Brom 0-1 Coventry

West Brom are having plenty of possession and move the ball nicely but it's all in their own half. A fact not lost on the home crowd who are starting to show their frustration.

  11. Postpublished at 12:52 GMT 21 February

    Hull City 0-0 QPR

Bit of a lull in this one after a really bright start.

This is a fourth successive home game for the Tigers, they've failed to win the past three.

Admittedly one of those was against World Champions Chelsea.

    West Brom 0-1 Coventry

If, like me, you were wondering when was the last time West Brom played in the third tier let me tell you we are talking 1992-93, the birth of the Premier League.

    It's a real concern now.

    Stoke 1-0 Leicester

Stoke's Aaron Cresswell delivers in another cross but despite increasing the heart-rates of the away end, it results in nothing.

Shortly after though Leicester finally have a go after Stephy Mavididi pinches possession. He takes it all the way to the edge of the box but Stoke's defensive prowess outweighs Mavididi's effort.

Does count as a shot though. Progress, Foxes fans, progress.

  14. YELLOW CARDpublished at 12:47 GMT 21 February

    West Brom 0-1 Coventry

It's already gone very quiet at The Hawthorns, that early Coventry goal has taken any wind out of the sails of the home fans. Still, at least you'll be home in time for Gladiators.

Milan van Ewijk has gone into the book for the visitors for a tackle that wouldn't look out of place in Gauntlet to be honest.

Really bright start from the home side in this one but the away side nearly open them up in their first real foray forward.

Richard Kone looks to tee up Koki Saito but Ivor Pandur bravely dives in to take it off the Japanese player's toe.

  16. Robins make bright startpublished at 12:46 GMT 21 February

    Swansea 0-0 Bristol City

    Gareth Vincent
BBC Sport Wales at the Swansea.com Stadium

There is a break in play as Swansea goalkeeper Lawrence Vigouroux for some reason changes his boots.

In truth, the home side will not mind the pause because Bristol City have started well here.

    Stoke 1-0 Leicester

    Matt Piper
Former Foxes winger on BBC Radio Leicester

At times where the game is in transition Leicester have struggled, it's just not been good enough.

I think the way they build into this game is with possession, quieten the crowd down, keep the ball, you can give the ball to Divine Mukasa and usually with three or four Stoke players around him, he keeps it.

l was part way through my preview on BBC 5 Live and the script is out the window straight away for Gary Rowett!

Ben Wilmot stealing a march from a recycled corner to score. It’s turned up the volume from the home fans and Stoke are continuing to push!

Gosh! Stoke's start is storming into something frightful.

Ben Wilmot is once again in the air, this time catching the end of Sorba Thomas' delicious delivery but the skipper watches his header glide left of the net.
