Almost 1-0 Chelsea straight away!

Sam Kerr takes the ball on the half-turn and ships it out wide to Alyssa Thompson. The American winger dances past a defender and fires a shot at the near post, which is tipped over by Khiara Keating.

Bompastor has huge shoes to fill coming for Emma Hayes and she did it effortlessly last season. They won the treble and you expected Chelsea to build from that.

But they've just been a little inconsistent. Something has been missing this season. But I'm sure they'll invest and go again next year.

But without a doubt they'll be wanting to go out and win the FA Cup.

For me, playing in the FA Cup final was a dream as a youngster. I got to a few finals but never actually won it.

But that day, going to Wembley and playing in front of a massive crowd, will be phenomenal for these players.

The City manager Andree Jeglertz has done a fantastic job. He's been speaking about mentality and how the club want to be at the top and winning things.

It was about changing the mentality and having the belief that they can beat Chelsea and Arsenal. The players have brought into that. You can see they've changed their style. They are a top quality side and the manager deserves a lot of credit.

New round, new look for Man City goalkeeper Ayaka Yamashita today.

The City keeper's not in the squad today despite travelling. Khiara Keating starts.

Really hope both teams are at their sparkling best today. They both play such good, free-flowing attacking football.

Man City thoroughly deserve to be WSL winners. The way they play is brilliant to watch and difficult to play against. They have so many different ways to attack. They can go out wide and get crosses into the box, they can play centrally. Bunny Shaw is obviously outstanding with her goals. They have creativity in midfield but also structure off the ball.

Manchester City striker Khadija Shaw won the Football Writers' Association Women's Footballer of the Year award this week.

Shaw is set to secure a third successive Women's Super League (WSL) Golden Boot after scoring 19 goals in 21 appearances, with one league game remaining for newly crowned champions City.

The 29-year-old, who joined City in 2021, is just one goal away from becoming the first player in WSL history to score 20 or more goals in three different seasons.

It is the second time the Jamaica forward has won the FWA award, having first done so for the 2023–24 season.

Shaw won the vote by a landslide, with Arsenal striker Alessia Russo - who was last year's winner - in second, while Chelsea forward Lauren James finished third.
