Andree Jeglertz hasn't looked like his usual relaxed self at Stamford Bridge. He has been quite agitated on the touchline and showed signs of frustration when Grace Clinton gave the ball away earlier.

It's been a really engaging end-to-end start.

Chelsea have been all over Manchester City in the opening stages of this match and that goal felt like it was coming.

City look a bit stunned and Sam Kerr was fully convinced the ball hadn't gone out of play when Ellie Carpenter teed her up.

No VAR in this one.

Ellie Carpenter reaches the byline and pulls the ball back for Sam Kerr. The City players stop, appealing for a goal kick thinking Carpenter didn't play her cross before the ball went over the line.

Sam Kerr taps into an empty net and then the assistant's flag goes up. Goal kick City.

But the replays show the ball actually stayed in play. What drama!

In previous seasons, Hasegawa has sat as a holding midfielder but she's had much more attacking intent. She has absolutely flourished under Jeglertz, it seems.

But here come City, their first chance, and Lauren Hemp drills a low cross across the face of goal which is just ahead of Yui Hasegawa sliding at the back post.
