    Charlton 1-1 Ipswich

Charlton continue to force the issue despite conceding that equaliser.

Jayden Fevrier finds the side netting from a narrow angle.

    Charlton 1-1 Ipswich

Macaulay Gillesphey sends Ivan Azon tumbling and into the book of Bobby Madley goes the Charlton man.

  4. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 20:24 BST 22 April

    Birmingham 2-1 Preston

Blues' Ibrahim Osman is down on the deck again but this time he's not going to be able to continue.

He departs with a goal and an assist to his name. Not bad for a shortened evening's work.

Demarai Gray comes on in his stead.

  5. 'Cardiff on top but missing edge'published at 20:23 BST 22 April

    Cardiff 0-0 Port Vale

    Chris Wathan
BBC Sport Wales at Cardiff City Stadium

No goals at Cardiff City Stadium and certainly no sign of Port Vale pulling off the first of a four part mission impossible to avoid the drop from League One..

They've been lively enough but are yet to worry the hosts when it comes to chances, the lack of quality telling.

Cardiff on top - Callum Robinson going closest - but missing that edge.

Unsurprising given promotion's already in the bag.

    Darnell Furlong (36 mins)

His first goal of the season.

Jaden Philogene sprints away to find Azor Matusiwa who sets-up Darnell Furlong to smack home a 20-yarder to level things.

Ipswich still third as we stand, Charlton still safe as well.

    Ryoya Morishita (32 mins)

First an assist and now a goal.

Adam Davies denies Ryan Alebiosu and Yuki Ohashi but he cannot keep out Ryoya Morishita who doiubles Rovers' lead.

Glum faces down in Oxford we imagine.

They're down if Blackburn win and Charlton don't lose.

    Birmingham 2-1 Preston

There's a little break in play as both Ibrahim Osman and Odeluga Offiah go down after colliding.

It gives the managers time to talk and Blues boss Chris Davies looks particularly aggrieved, no doubt giving his side an earful about their lax marking to allow Preston's Andrew Hughes that goal.

  9. Postpublished at 20:16 BST 22 April

    Sheff Utd 0-1 Blackburn

Goalkeeper Balazs Toth preserves Blackburn's lead as he gets down to deny Patrick Bamford.

So far, so good for the visitors.

    Charlton 1-0 Ipswich

    Charlton go over the top.

Charlie Kelman picks up a knock down but shoots straight at Christian Walton.

    This is 100mph stuff.

    Charlton 1-0 Ipswich

Deary me, Christian Walton does not help the pulse rates of the Ipswich fans.

He comes out of his area to clear and, under pressure from Charlie Kelman misses the ball but fortunately there is defensive cover to help him out.

It is that time of the season where any mistake can be magnified ten-fold.

  12. goal

GOAL: Birmingham 2-1 Prestonpublished at 20:12 BST 22 April

    Andrew Hughes (25 mins)

    Goals flowing at St Andrew's!

Blues goalkeeper James Beadle isn't able to get a good enough touch on the Preston corner and Andrew Hughes is like a forgotten man left to his own devices at the back post to happily receive it.

It hits the defender's body first but he moves fast to tap it right into the net to pull one back for the visitors.

    Dreadful defending.

  13. Postpublished at 20:11 BST 22 April

    Middlesbrough 1-0 Sheff Weds

Sheffield Wednesday are doing well to keep out Boro's attacks but how long can it last?

Alan Browne's effort is denied by Wednesday defender Gabriel Otegbayo, before keeper Murphy Cooper parries away Morgan Whittaker's strike.

It's David Strelec who comes closest though, hitting a lovely volley towards goal but seeing it deflected out for a corner.

  14. Postpublished at 20:10 BST 22 April

    Charlton 1-0 Ipswich

What a miss, should be 1-1.

Ipswich ping the ball around and when Darnell Furlong cuts a cross back, Ivan Azon ends up kicking the ball with his right foot against his left and it goes wide.

They are getting themselves safe as things stand with one game remaining after tonight.

  17. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 20:04 BST 22 April

    Ibrahim Osman (16 mins)

    Oh dear Preston.

Ibrahim Osman's initial delivery is headed out but only straight back to Ghanaian's feet.

This time he chooses to drive into the box and the North End players don't close him down, letting him find the space to slice a shot right into the corner.

  19. Postpublished at 20:02 BST 22 April

    Charlton 1-0 Ipswich

It has taken 15 minutes but Ipswich finally threaten.

Darnell Furlong sends a cross to the far post but Jaden Philogene's volley is into the ground and off target.

It just looks a bit flat from the visitors.

Remember they have three away games in six days starting tonight.

  20. goal

GOAL: Birmingham 1-0 Prestonpublished at 20:01 BST 22 April

    Jay Stansfield (10 mins)

    No 0-0's tonight.

Jay Stansfield can smell a goal and makes a run right in front of goal ready for Ibrahim Osman to feed him from the edge of the box.

    Makes it look easy.
