  1. Kick-off at sunny Hivepublished at 12:31 GMT 14 February

Barnet come into this game unbeaten in five, winning at Walsall last time out to move within three points of the play-offs, and they would leapfrog the saddlers with a win today.

They haven’t lost at home since December but it’s the first match of a nine-game ban for manager Dean Brennan for verbally abusing a female referee. He won’t be back in the dugout until the end of March.

The Bees will be confident of beating a Cheltenham side who’ve lost four on the bounce. Only two sides in the whole EFL have conceded more goals this season.

Team news: Barnet are unchanged as they look to move into the final play-off place.

    Cheltenham make three changes.

    It’s 11th versus 18th in League Two.

Lincoln could have the chance to go top of the table but will need Cardiff to falter at Luton and take the win themselves against a dangerous Bolton side hoping to close in on the top two.

Meanwhile, it's another week where the standings at the bottom are too close to call.

But with none of the bottom four in league action this weekend, it's a good opportunity for those above to gain some ground away from the drop zone.

  6. Six changes for Terriers since Tuesdaypublished at 12:23 GMT 14 February

    Stevenage v Huddersfield (12:30 GMT)

    Huddersfield XIImage source, Opta

Huddersfield have made six changes from their Vertu Trophy defeat by Doncaster on Tuesday.

Captain Ryan Ledson is back in and Suriname defender Radinio Balker comes back in too. Suriname have not yet qualified for this year's World Cup, but are in a pretty strong position to do so. Through the Intercontinental play-offs, two of Iraq, DR Congo, Bolivia, Suriname, New Caledonia and Jamaica will make it to North America this summer.

Stevenage yesterday signed 34-year-old former Scottish international Matt Phillips, released by Oxford United on a free transfer. He slots straight into midfield. Will his Premier League experience help the younger Boro players around him? We shall soon see, the sun is shining beautifully on Broadhall Way.

  7. Can Manning continue his great start as Terriers manager?published at 12:21 GMT 14 February

    Stevenage v Huddersfield (12:30 GMT)

This is Liam Manning's fifth league game in charge of Huddersfield Town and the fifth-placed Terriers have not lost during his tenure yet.

They won their first three and drew last week against Blackpool.

After winning their last away league game 3-2 v Peterborough, Huddersfield are looking to record successive wins on the road for the first time since February of last year.

Huddersfield have scored in each of their past five league games against Stevenage.

The home side sit 11th, and following Tuesday night’s postponement Alex Revell's team should be the fresher of the two sides, really chomping at the bit to get a result in this one.

Stevenage have failed to beat Huddersfield across in their past five league meetings, and they have failed to win any of their past six league games played on a Saturday, last going on a longer winless run on this specific day in April 2022 (8 games).

  8. Reading make double change; Leahy in the XI for Wycombepublished at 12:19 GMT 14 February

    Reading v Wycombe (12:30 GMT)

Reading make a double switch from the side that beat Wigan last time out.

Ryan Nyambe and Haydon Roberts move to the bench as Andy Yiadom and Kadan Young join the XI.

Captain Luke Leahy returns to Wycombe's line-up as their only change.

Caolan Boyd-Munce misses the trip but Jack Grimmer is amongst the substitutes.

  9. Close knit Royals and Wycombe in a play-off chase showdownpublished at 12:17 GMT 14 February

    Reading v Wycombe (12:30 GMT)

    Media caption,

Wycombe head coach Michael Duff believes standards have risen with new arrivals.

It'll take less than an hour for Wycombe to arrive at Reading's door but their close proximity in location means little. Their closeness on the League One table, however, means a lot.

Only the Chairboys' superior goal difference puts them ahead of 10th-placed Reading and with six points separating both clubs from the play-off places, this will feel like a must-win game to stay in contention.

But the similarities in the two sides don't end with just their current points tally.

"Both have had similar seasons," Wycombe boss Michael Duff told BBC Radio 3CR. "Both had, I think it's fair to say, slow starts. Both changed the manager, there has been a positive bump.

"They've picked up, we've picked up, and we've ended up meeting each other in the middle of the table.

"I don't think it's Celtic v Rangers, it's not Liverpool v Manchester United... but it is a local derby. We want to win the game. Whoever wins goes above their opponent, so it's one thing we can guarantee is that we go up one place on the table."

Chesterfield will look to oust Walsall from the top six this afternoon, but their opponents Harrogate Town will be just as eager to try and gain some ground in the basement.

Crewe Alexandra could also earn a place in the play-off places with a win over Gillingham, while Cambridge United and MK Dons will be seeking a spot in the top three against Bristol Rovers and Newport County respectively.

But perhaps the biggest story of the day could come at Bromley, should in-form chasers Notts County win and offer both themselves and possibly Swindon Town a chance to strike next time around.

  12. Barnet unchanged; Cheltenham make three changespublished at 12:09 GMT 14 February

    Barnet v Cheltenham (12:30 GMT)

    Barnet XIImage source, Opta

Barnet are unchanged from their excellent win against Walsall last week.

Defender Ben Winterburn returns to the bench after not featuring since the win against Grimsby on New Year's Day.

Steve Cotterill's Cheltenham make three changes to the side which was defeated by MK Dons last week.

Sam Sherring, Harry Ashfield and Cole Deeming are all brought into the starting XI, with Arkell Jude-Boyd, Luke Young and Jake Bickerstaff all dropped to the bench.

  13. Barnet welcome freefalling Cheltenhampublished at 12:06 GMT 14 February

    Barnet v Cheltenham (12:30 GMT)

    Media caption,

Cheltenham Town Manager Steve Cotterill previews their League Two game at Barnet.

In-form Barnet begin a nine-match stint without their manager on the touchline, with a visit from very much out-of-form Cheltenham.

Dean Brennan was handed the punishment on Thursday after he verbally abused a female referee during his side’s match against Shrewsbury in September.

But the Bees will be hoping that won’t be a distraction as they hope to build on a calendar year which has so far seen them only lose one game.

It’s quite a contrast for Cheltenham, who are sliding down the League Two table having only managed one win in 2026, despite a valiant defeat against MK Dons last week.

A win for Barnet could take them into the play-off spots before the 3pm matches begin, and inject a few more relegation jitters into Steve Cotterill's side.

It's a very, very special afternoon on this fine Saturday.

Yeah, yeah, it's Valentine's Day and all that but it's also a day where Lincoln may earn a spot at the top of the League One table and Notts County's brilliant winning streak is tested by League Two leaders Bromley, to name but a few treats in store.

This may be a day for romance but there could be a few broken hearts come the end of today's matches. Still, all about the love of the game, isn't it?

    Build-up coming your way.
