GOAL - Real Madrid 0-1 Bayern Munichpublished at 20:41 BST 7 April

    Luis Diaz (41 mins)

Bayern finally take a deserved lead!

It's lovely pass and move football from Bayern to carve Real Madrid open after Vinicius Jr gives the ball away cheaply.

It comes from Harry Kane to Serge Gnabry then to Luis Diaz and the Colombian slots home.

    Sporting 0-0 Arsenal

Arsenal did hit the crossbar from Noni Madueke's corner but otherwise they've had one shot on goal and none on target. They haven't been threatening enough overall.

The referee has been quick to brandish the yellow card in this game.

    Sporting 0-0 Arsenal

Luis Suárez was also shown a yellow card for dissent, presumably unhappy with the booking for Hidemasa Morita. That, I believe, means he will be suspended for the second leg.

This Arsenal team is so boring to watch, no one willing to take a chance, just pass pass pass, waiting for set pieces. When will people realise this team is not as good as they think.

    Paul, Billingham

Arsenal - Feel as though there is too much backwards and side way passing. Not going to break a team down passing it sideways.

    Real Madrid 0-0 Bayern Munich

Aurelien Tchouameni goes into the referee's book for a trip on Michael Olise.

That means he will miss the quarter-final return leg in Munich.

Arsenal don’t seem to have the keys to open up teams, this game is crying out for a Dowman.

    Sporting 0-0 Arsenal

    Matt Upson

I don't think Morita can believe it's a foul, and then when the referee comes with a yellow card he's in even more disbelief.

There's nothing wrong with that tackle.

  9. YELLOW CARDpublished at 20:34 BST 7 April

    Sporting 0-0 Arsenal

Hidemasa Morita is shown the game's first yellow card for a foul on Leandro Trossard.

Morita does get the ball but takes down Trossard with the follow through.

Real Madrid need to stop overplaying in the build-up.

They also need to get support over to Alvaro Carreras because any one-v-one situation and they're having problems.

Madueke seems to be looking for opportunities to go down more than score or assist. Loads of talent, but so frustrating to watch.

    Dez, Bristol

Madueke is such a good player but any time a player goes near him he hits the deck. It's so irritating. I wish players would stop trying to win fouls and actually try and play the game.

    Real Madrid 0-0 Bayern Munich

Remarkably Bayern have had six chances with two on target while Real have had seven and three on target.

But it has certainly felt like the visitors have had the better opportunities.

The xG tells us that - 1.27 to Real's 0.51.

Bayern should have one foot in the semi-final already. Three glorious opportunities not taken. They may regret that later.

The Sporting left-back, Maxi Araujo, has been such a fixture of this game so far.

Maxi Araujo is fun to watch.

He's an attacking left full back and a few of his runs down the Sporting left have caused the Gunners problems.

Another great ball from the back by Sporting, this time from Gonçalo Inácio for Maxi Araújo, who tries a first-time square ball to team-mate Luis Suarez inside the box but he can't get the direction he wants. Right idea, just not quite getting the execution.

Arsenal have had more of the ball in the opening part of this match.

The Gunners have come close through Madueke hitting the bar and are starting to show their usual control.

But Sporting are still a constant threat and look dangerous on the counter-attack.

    It's finely balanced.

  19. CLOSE!published at 20:28 BST 7 April

    Real Madrid 0-0 Bayern Munich

Should be 1-0...well, it should be 2-0!

A huge mistake from Real Madrid as they try to play out from the back and Thiago Pitarch ends up passing straight to Serge Gnabry but his reaction shot it saved by Andrii Lunin.

Vinicius Jr's cross takes a bit of a deflection and Manuel Neuer is called into action but it's going to take more than that to catch the German off guard.
