    Scottish Championship

The top two in the second tier are away from home this afternoon.

St Johnstone's lead is down to three points, so it could be a nervous afternoon for Saints fans at Gayfield, where they lost 3-1 in October.

Partick Thistle face an Ayr United side under the new management of John Rankin, following Scott Brown's exit.

Meanwhile, there is a massive game in Dingwall as the bottom two go head-to-head, with Ross County just one point in front of Airdrie.

  7. Rangers aim for top spot in Premiershippublished at 14:01 BST 4 April

It's Rangers' turn to go first in the Scottish Premiership's three-way title chase - and they will move top of the table if they can beat Dundee United at Ibrox since leaders Hearts are in action tomorrow, along with champions Celtic.

Falkirk can confirm their top six place with a point or better away to Motherwell - or if Dundee United fail to win.

Stephen Robinson makes a swift return to St Mirren and if his Aberdeen side lose that one they will be level on points with the Buddies at the wrong end of the table.

Kilmarnock go to Hibs hoping to put pressure on the teams playing in Paisley, while the hosts have not given up hope of catching Motherwell in the race for fourth and a guaranteed European place.
