  1. Kilmarnock feeling good - McCannpublished at 14:56 BST 4 April

    Hibernian v Kilmarnock (15:00)

Kilmarnock manager Neil McCann tells BBC Scotland: "I'm very aware of the league table, but it's been a good week on the back of two brilliant victories at home. The target for us is to find that consistency, and try and take it on the road.

"I'm full of admiration at the job that Davie [Gray] has done here. We know how hard it's going to be, but the boys are feeling good."

Asked about Killie's record in Leith, where they haven't won since 2014, he said: "I don't look into all the stats, I'm not going to pass judgement on any previous Kilmarnock manager coming here.

"We know where we are as a team and we've got a chance to put some of those things to bed."

  2. Gray explains team selectionpublished at 14:54 BST 4 April

    Hibernian v Kilmarnock (15:00)

Hibernian head coach David Gray tells BBC Scotland: "Nicky [Cadden] picked up a niggle in training, which keeps him out the game today but it's nothing too serious. This game is just too much of a risk.

"Rocky [Bushiri] had a delayed return from national team duties. Delighted for him on a personal level.

"Martin [Boyle] and Ante [Suto] both returned late on Thursday, early hours of Friday but both trained on Friday. Boylie's done it before, he's used to it. It was Ante's first time. They're both in the squad today.

"Neil [McCann] has done a brilliant job with Kilmarnock, they're in strong form and fighting for their lives. Every game until now to the end of the season, there's something on the line. It's exciting for the neutrals but it makes for tough games."

  3. United aim to keep pressure on Falkirk - Goodwinpublished at 14:53 BST 4 April

    Rangers v Dundee United (15:00)

Dundee United manager Jim Goodwin tells BBC Scotland: "It's the first time in a long time we've had the same starting 11 in three games back-to-back, but the performances in the last couple of fixtures have been excellent and we're hoping for a repeat performance.

"We know if Rangers win they go top of the table so there is a lot at stake for them, but for us as well.

"We're trying to keep the pressure on Falkirk above us. They have a couple of difficult fixtures before the split. But we have to focus on ourselves and win the next two games and hope Falkirk drop points."

  4. 'Great opportunity' for Rangers to go top - Rohlpublished at 14:52 BST 4 April

    Rangers v Dundee United (15:00)

Rangers head coach Danny Rohl tells BBC Scotland: "It feels like a great opportunity - I'm looking for the three points.

"It would be nice to have first position after the game but we want to be there at the end of the season. That's our goal and three points will help us reach our goal.

"We spoke this morning about that - I was really surprised. Two years since we've had the opportunity to jump over [to first] because you always feel Rangers are in the right position to fight for the title. But it shows a lot from the past, we are here to change the future and have a succesful one."

On the injury to left-back Tuur Rommens, Rohl says: "Unfortunately he got a muscle injury on Thursday. Let's see how long he's out for, I think minimum of two more games. Hopefully he is back very quickly for the split. But Jayden [Meghoma] is ready, he has performed very well for us. He has played a lot of games and I totally trust him."

    Hibernian v Kilmarnock (15:00)

Kilmarnock have given themselves a chance of avoiding 11th place, winning their last two games at Rugby Park against Hearts and Livingston.

Away form remains a worry though, with just one win from 15 games, and they have gone 12 without a victory at Easter Road, losing eight of those.

    Rangers v Dundee United (15:00)

It has to be said that Dundee United victories at Ibrox don't come along very often.

The Tangerines have only won one of their past 22 league visits to Rangers, a 3-2 success in April 2011 under Peter Houston.

    Rangers v Dundee United (15:00)

Rangers are hoping to reach league's summit for the first time since March 2024, but it's not a done deal.

Both previous games with Dundee United this season ended in 2-2 draws and Rangers needed a late equaliser each time.

United will be buoyed by their second home win over Celtic this term and they must take three points to keep their faint hopes of overhauling Falkirk alive.

    Hibernian v Kilmarnock (15:00)

Hibs' hopes of finishing fourth were given a boost by their first win at Celtic Park in 16 years, but since then they have drawn three in a row against Dundee, Livingston and Motherwell.

When Kilmarnock last visited Easter Road in August, Hibs raced into a 2-0 playing some lovely stuff then let it slip for yet another draw.

    Rangers v Dundee United (15:00)

A win will take Rangers to the top of the table on goal difference.

It might only be an overnight stay, with Hearts going to bottom side Livingston on Sunday, but it could crank up the pressure on the Edinburgh team, who have been out in front since September.

Remember, Rangers were 13 points off the pace when manager Danny Rohl took over in October.

    Motherwell v Falkirk (15:00)

Falkirk are almost there in terms of securing a top six berth, which would be absolutely fantastic for a promoted team that has been absent from the top flight since 2010.

The Bairns have only won one of their past five league matches, picking up just four points, and they might not even add to their tally since Dundee United will only be a threat if they take maximum points at Ibrox.

    Motherwell v Falkirk (15:00)

Motherwell have stumbled a bit of late, picking up one point from their last three games, but they have been formidable at home this season.

The Steelmen have gathered a hugely impressive 35 points from 16 outings at Fir Park, losing just once.

But it was Falkirk who dished out that defeat, coming from behind in October.

    St Mirren v Aberdeen (15:00)

Stephen Robinson had a great record against Aberdeen with St Mirren.

Indeed, the Dons' 1-0 win in October ended a 10-game winless league streak in Paisley (D3 L7).

Since moving to Pittodrie, Robinson has overseen a home draw with Falkirk and a heavy defeat at Rangers, which means Aberdeen have lost eight of their last nine away league outings.

    St Mirren v Aberdeen (15:00)

What kind of reception will Stephen Robinson get in Paisley? Surely home fans will be grateful for the good times, including this season's League Cup triumph.

But those supporters and the St Mirren players will be desperate to put one over their old boss, given they are just three points behind the Dons.

St Mirren have only played twice at home in the league since stunning Hearts in early February, losing out to Motherwell and Rangers.

    Scottish League 2

British Summer Time is hardly off to a flier, with freezing temperatures and an imminent storm, but it's getting towards the business end of the season.

In League Two, Edinburgh City could be confirmed as the bottom club (and thus face a play-off against the Highland or Lowland League champions).

This can only happen if they lose at home to local rivals Spartans - and Dumbarton win away to Stranraer.

David Watson was getting linked with a move to Bologna during the week, but the 21-year-old midfielder who is out of contract in the summer is once again on the Kilmarnock bench today.

  16. Bushiri and Nicky Cadden out for Hibs; Lyons back for Killiepublished at 14:24 BST 4 April

    Hibernian v Kilmarnock (15:00)

Hibs make four changes from the draw with Motherwell, with Nicky Cadden and Rocky Bushiri the big omissions.

The latter qualified for the World Cup with DR Congo through the week and had not returned from the celebrations in Kinshasa in time for Friday's training.

Martin Boyle and Ante Suto drop to the bench, making way for strikers Owen Elding and Dane Scarlett. Grant Hanley comes into the back line, with Jordan Obita on the left.

As for Kilmarnock, they made just one change. Brad Lyons returns to skipper the side, with Marley Watkins dropping to the bench.

  17. St Mirren switch three as Robinson drops Mitovpublished at 14:22 BST 4 April

    St Mirren v Aberdeen (15:00)

Craig McLeish switches three of the St Mirren team that started their vital win at Falkirk a fortnight ago.

Declan John is in at left-wing back, while Jonah Ayunga and Mikael Mandron are the front pairing, as Scott Tanser, Jake Young and Dan Nlundulu drop to the bench.

Stephen Robinson, on his return to Paisley, starts the same back three from the 4-1 defeat at Rangers but ditches goalkeeper Dimitar Mitov for Per Kristian Bratveit.

Graeme Shinnie comes into midfield, replacing Ante Palaversa, as Dennis Geiger drops out for Topi Keskinen in an attacking change.

Former St Mirren defender and recent Aberdeen signing Elvis Bwomono could make his Dons debut from the bench.

  18. Said & Longelo in for 'Well; Adams back for Falkirkpublished at 14:20 BST 4 April

    Motherwell v Falkirk (15:00)

Jens Berthel Askou has made two changes from the goalless draw against Hibs before the international break.

Ibrahim Said returns to the starting line-up alongside Emmanuel Longelo, who is back from suspension.

Callum Slattery begins his ban for simulation, while Oscar Priestman drops to the bench.

John McGlynn has also made two alterations from the team that was beaten 2-1 by St Mirren last time out.

Keelan Adams returns for the first time since February, Liam Henderson is also in from the beginning.

Coll Donaldson and Lewis Neilson make way.

  19. No Rommens for Rangers; United unchangedpublished at 14:18 BST 4 April

    Rangers v Dundee United (15:00)

The mystery injured Rangers player Danny Rohl was referring to on Friday appears to be left-back Tuur Rommens, who misses out.

Jayden Meghoma comes in for the Belgian.

John Souttar replaces Emmanuel Fernandez at centre-back and Dujon Sterling is preferred to James Tavernier.

Andreas Skov Olsen has bounced back from illness to take the place of Youssef Chermiti.

As for United, they go with the same XI which defeated Celtic before the international break.
