  15. Two silky sides promises quality contestpublished at 15:03 BST 4 April

    Motherwell 0-0 Falkirk

    Martin Dowden
BBC Sport Scotland at Fir Park

A slick surface, two silky football teams and both, pretty much, assured a top-six finish.

That screams a great football match but we all know what happens when that's the expectation. Hopefully, both sides show the best version of themselves. If so, a cracker will be guaranteed.

Motherwell are looking to continue their incredible home run and ease towards Europe. Falkirk inches from finally cementing that top six place.

Lots to play for at Fir Park.

  16. McLeish learned so much from Robinsonpublished at 15:02 BST 4 April

    St Mirren 0-0 Aberdeen

St Mirren interim manager Craig McLeish told BBC Scotland: "I'm comfortable in this environment, I've been coaching and preparing teams for a long time. I back my ability and more importantly back the players in the dressing room.

"I don't think [Stephen Robinson] realises how much I picked up from him. I picked up so much over the years and he gave me such a good foundation to build on.

"I hope he gets the respect he deserves. He's been a magnificent servant for this club. Fans will be fans, but he's got nothing but respect from me, the club and the other members of staff here."

  17. KICK-OFFpublished at 15:01 BST 4 April

And we're off in Paisley. The others won't be far behind.

  18. 'Dons must match St Mirren physically'published at 15:01 BST 4 April

    St Mirren v Aberdeen (15:00)

Aberdeen head coach Stephen Robinson tells BBC Scotland: "I was here a long time, things move on and that's football. We're back to try get three points.

"It's people's choices the way they react [to me coming back]. I've got nothing but good things to say about the football club. We have to match them physically and show the talent we have.

"We have electric pace in the team and we haven't used it up until now. We're hoping we do that today.

"We've worked on it for two weeks now, I'm seeing a group of talented boys without direction at times. We're trying to give that direction quickly because we need points on the board."

  19. McGlynn sets mission to catch Hibspublished at 14:59 BST 4 April

    Motherwell v Falkirk (15:00)

Falkirk manager John McGlynn says "it's been a little bit frustrating" not to have secured their top six spot yet.

"But we can do it today," he tells BBC Scotland. "That's football, you always get another chance.

"We need to take at least a point from the two games but we want to do it today and we want to do it ourselves. There's six points left, we could get through very comfortably or it could be a little bit nervy. It would be nice just to get it done though.

"We continually create new challenges, it keeps the guys focused. It's realistic [to catch Hibs], if we can win here today which won't be easy but we've done it before we can do it again - if we do that and Hibs were to slip up we could get very close. If we can get into the top half the mission will be to catch Hibs."

  20. 'Motherwell marathon looks quite good'published at 14:58 BST 4 April

    Motherwell v Falkirk (15:00)

Motherwell manager Jens Berthel Askou tells BBC Scotland: "The football world is getting so crazy.

"You look at how quickly things can change both on the pitch and off the pitch where managers and players get sacked and hired within no time at what is supposed to be the highest and best environments in the world.

"It's so emotional that you can have something you've built over years, and a club that has existed for more than 100 years, and then people's perception completely changes within five weeks or even faster. It doesn't make sense really.

"I want people to think about that. Things go really fast but you can't give up on it.

"Is a run a sprint or is it a marathon? If it's a marathon it looks quite good. The last 100 yards have not been the best but it doesn't mean that we are on the wrong track but we also know today is a big test against a team who have been magnificent.

"We know we have to be at our best and that's what we've been trying to do.

"We are in for a big test today. Hopefully we will see two teams going for the win and not be too worried."
