Any other Pompey fans getting nervous? Mousinho said today would be busy. Not saying I'm a doubter, but there isn't much time left...

    Joe, Horley

Funny you should bring that up, Joe. We have some Pompey news coming shortly...

    Preston North End

Preston haven’t had a very busy transfer window but the signing of Lukovic could prove very important as Osmajic keeps on getting himself banned if we want to push for the play-offs.

    Tom, Lytham

The window did not start well for North End with influential midfielder Harrison Armstrong returning to parent club Everton, but striker Milos Lukovic has arrived from Strasbourg and, as reported earlier by BBC Radio Lancashire's Andy Bayes, midfielder Andrew Moran should be signing today on loan from Brighton.

League One Mansfield have taken 20-year-old George Abbott on loan from Tottenham until the end of the season.

Abbott joins Tottenham academy teammate Oliver Irow on loan with the Stags.

    Charlton Athletic

Charlton have had a productive transfer window I think. Nothing flashy but some much needed cover and a few players straight into the starting line-up. Good work CAFC

    PB, London

Charlton have been busy, signing: Lyndon Dykes (Birmingham, undisclosed), Collins Sichenje (Vojvodina, undisclosed), Tiernan Brooks (Gateshead, undisclosed), Conor Coady (Wrexham, loan), Harry Clarke (Ipswich, loan), Luke Chambers (Liverpool, loan) and Jayden Fevrier (Stockport, loan).

    Blackburn Rovers

Perhaps Valerien Ismael's only legacy is that he blooded so many academy lads - even if it was out of necessity.

    Tony, Ulverston

I was sympathetic to Ismael with the club being what it is, but his attitude post-match said a lot; he blamed outside factors constantly and took very little responsibility. Starting our new 9 (Mathias Jorgensen) on the left against Hull was the final nail in the coffin.

  8. DONE DEAL: Salford loan Spurs starpublished at 17:23 GMT 2 February

    Deadline day

    Salford City

Alfie Dorrington applauds Aberdeen fansImage source, Shutterstock

League Two Salford have pulled off a coup with the loan signing of Tottenham defender Alfie Dorrington until the end of the season.

The 20-year-old centre-back spent the second half of last season and the first half of this season on loan at SPL side Aberdeen, helping them lift the FA Cup last season and making 14 appearances for the Dons this term, including six in European competition.

The England youth international made his Premier League debut for Tottenham in a 5-0 win at Southampton in December 2024.

Dundee's star defender Luke Graham is going nowhere.

Unsurprisingly he has been at the centre of a whirl of speculation about his future, following a string of fine displays.

Despite reported interest from the likes of Portsmouth and QPR, I'm hearing he is staying put.

    Barnsley

As a Barnsley fan I’m seriously concerned about Wrexham trying to Davis Keillor-Dunn, he would be a huge loss.

    Paul, Doncaster

Not wanting to put two and two together here, Paul, but Tom Bradshaw's arrival from Oxford could well confirm your concerns...

Davis Keillor-Dunn is the joint second highest goalscorer in League One this season with 13.

  11. DONE DEAL: Bradshaw returns to Tykespublished at 17:13 GMT 2 February

    Coventry City

Three wingers as of yet - we are scoring, just, we are leaking goals and lack experience. One defensive midfielder is not going to plug Coventry's defence. Look at the sides around us, they are spending for the Premier League, we are not.

    Stephen, Coventry

Championship leaders Coventry - whose 10-point advantage in December has been wiped out by Middlesbrough - have signed Romain Esse (Crystal Palace, loan), Yang Min-hyeok (Tottenham, loan) and Jahnoah Markelo (Zurich, undisclosed) so far in this window.

    Blackburn Rovers

Tawanda Maswanhise celebrates scoring for MotherwellImage source, Shutterstock

Some news from our friends north of the border and specifically about Motherwell striker Tawanda Maswanhise.

The 23-year-old has scored 19 goals for the Scottish Premiership side this season, including seven in his past six appearances.

Motherwell are reportedly determined not to sell as reported by Nick McPheat earlier today, but Maswanhise has been linked with Blackburn Rovers, Anderlecht, and tentatively with both sides of the Old Firm.

  18. Wrexham's busy day gets busierpublished at 16:50 GMT 2 February

    Deadline day

    Dafydd Pritchard
    BBC Sport Wales

It continues to be a busy day for Wrexham, and they're not done yet.

Following confirmation of Jacob Mendy's permanent move to Peterborough, we're expecting midfielder Harry Ashfield and striker Mo Faal to join Cheltenham on loan.

Forward Ryan Hardie is also close to joining Huddersfield, no surprise as Wrexham are hopeful of signing two attackers this evening: Bailey Cadamarteri from Sheffield Wednesday and Davis Keillor-Dunn from Barnsley.

  19. DONE DEAL: Mendy makes Posh move permanentpublished at 16:48 GMT 2 February

    Deadline day

Jacob Mendy warming-up for PeterboroughImage source, Shutterstock

Wrexham left-back Jacob Mendy has made his season-long loan to League One Peterborough a permanent move.

The 29-year-old Gambian international helped the Red Dragons to back-to-back promotions but has been limited to just six appearances for Posh this season as he recovers from a muscle injury., external

Meanwhile, defender Tom O'Connor, 26, has returned to the Stok Cae Ras from Posh after a hamstring injury curtailed his loan spell.

    Blackburn Rovers

Ismael has left Rovers in a parlous state. Third from bottom, crowds of less than 10,000 and a team with no confidence whatsoever. I feel for the new boss.

    Gary, Bristol

I could see Ismael was a dreadful appointment from the beginning. Venkys have acted so quickly, it's only taken from the day he was appointed to figure out he was one of the worst ever Championship managers. I want Slaven Bilic or David Wagner.

    Finley, Bournemouth

Go for Sam Alladyce for rest of the season (at least), to keep Blackburn Rovers in the Championship. He should never have gone after the useless owners Venkys took over only to be replaced by the even more useless Steve Kean.

    John, Blackburn

Couldn’t be a day too soon in sacking Ismael. However long the injury list is, no win in eight is unacceptable.

    Noah, Blackburn
