Cambridge have had a pretty quiet window with one loan coming in, Elliot Nevitt. However when your 14 games unbeaten winning the last six, sometimes big changes can be more harm then good.

  7. It's time to talk about deal sheetspublished at 18:46 GMT 2 February

    Deadline day

Football League clubs need to complete a 'deal sheet' in order to complete a transfer in the last two hours of a transfer window.

Clubs often leave their transfer dealings to the very last minute, and therefore have to submit a form to the EFL to make sure that a transfer can go ahead.

The deal sheet allows a club to confirm that an agreement has been reached and also give themselves more time to submit the remaining documentation.

The EFL and the Premier League have both set a transfer deadline for Monday, 2 February at 19:00 GMT.

The deal sheet cannot be used before 17:00 GMT and needs to be filled in before the transfer window closes.

Once the deal sheet arrives with the EFL, the clubs have an additional two hours, or until 21:00 GMT to submit all the required paperwork.

If all the necessary paperwork has still not been submitted after the deadline has passed, the transfer will not be able to proceed.

Blackburn Rovers failed to sign Orlando City's Duncan McGuire in 2024 after the club failed to submit the deal sheet into the EFL's system on time.

When asked where Lang is, Mousinho said: "He’s here."

Rumours have circulated that Lang handed in a transfer request to try and force through the deal.

"Not as far as I’m aware, no," Mousinho said. "He hasn’t said anything to me."

And on incomings at Fratton Park, Mousinho added: "Probably two I think, so keep your ears close to the ground.

"Pretty confident at this stage [that Pompey will get who they need]. We’re in a pretty good position with where we are. In terms of the departures, that’s been a really tight one."

The deal also includes an obligation to buy should Coventry achieve promotion to the Premier League.

"My aim is to give 100%, bring my experience and help the team get promoted to the Premier League and bring glory to the city again," Onyeka told the club website.

"I’m very excited to get going and I’m ready to give my all for Coventry."
