    Stoke City have signed winger Ato Ampah from Chelsea for an undisclosed fee.

    The 19-year-old has signed a three-and-a-half year deal with the Potters.

    Ampah, an England under-20 international, has scored 19 goals and provided 18 assists in 41 starts in all competitions for Chelsea's academy sides.

    “I am very excited about this new chapter in my career," Ampah told the club website.

    “I know the manager and coaching staff here have a reputation for developing young players and that was a big factor in my decision.

    “I am hungry, determined and excited to express myself in front of Stoke City’s supporters.”

    Some more news coming out of Oxford United and former Scotland international Matt Phillips has left the club by mutual consent.

    The 34-year-old spent 18 months with the U's, making 41 appearances and scoring two goals.

    "Everyone at Oxford United would like to wish Matt all the best for the future and to thank him for his service to the club," Oxford said in a statement on its club website.

    Forward Ryan Hardie has joined League One Huddersfield on loan from Wrexham.

    The 28-year-old Scot fired Plymouth to the League One title in 2023 before joining the Red Dragons last summer, but has been limited to just 10 appearances in the first half of the season and is nearing fitness after a knee injury.

    Luton have signed 22-year-old Norwegian midfielder Sverre Sandal from Oslo-based top-flight side KFUM on a permanent basis for an undisclosed fee.

    Championship strugglers Oxford have a deal sheet in for two players, reports BBC Radio Oxford's Jerome Sale.

    One of them is for Millwall forward Aidomo Emakhu.

    If both moves are successful, it would take the U's January incomings up to eight as they try and preserve their Championship status under Matt Bloomfield.

    Swansea City have signed attacking midfielder Leo Walta from Swedish top flight side IK Sirius.

    The 22-year-old scored 17 goals and provided three assists in 34 games in all competitions last season.

    He has also scored once in 10 appearances for the Finland national side.

    "His creativity and ability to play in small spaces, the technical level he has, will help us a lot as a team," Swansea boss Vitor Matos told the club website.

    "He gives us a different kind of profile in the middle of the pitch, he can contribute goals and assists; and in his position producing those sorts of numbers always helps."

    Birmingham City have signed central defender Jonathan Panzo from Portuguese Primeira Liga side Rio Ave for an undisclosed fee.

    The 25-year-old began his career in the Chelsea youth academy before moving to Monaco and then Dijon in France.

    He returned to England with Nottingham Forest in 2022 before loan spells with Coventry, Cardiff and Standard Liege.

    Panzo has made 14 appearances in the Portuguese top flight with Rio Ave this season, helping keep two clean sheets.

    His contract at St Andrew's will initially run until the end of this season.

    Rotherham's busy deadline day continues, and it's a biggie.

    The Millers have brought in 19-year-old Manchester United striker Gabriele Biancheri, a Wales under-21 international, on loan until the end of the season.

    His first appearance could be against League One leaders Cardiff, where he began his career, on Saturday.

    Bolton have signed 22-year-old Celtic and Republic of Ireland forward Johnny Kenny on loan, having scored six goals for the Scottish giants so far this season.

    AFC Wimbledon have brought in 23-year-old former Liverpool and Preston striker Layton Stewart on loan until the end of the season from Swiss league leaders FC Thun.

    Port Vale have brought in former Luton, Burnley and Watford striker Andre Gray, 34, on a permanent deal until the end of the season.

    The Jamaican international has been playing in Turkey after leaving Plymouth last summer.

    Elsewhere in League One, Blackpool have taken Charlton midfielder Karoy Anderson, 21, on loan until the end of the season.

    The deadline day deals just keep on rolling in with transfers galore being confirmed after the 19:00 GMT cut-off.

    Bristol City have signed midfielder Tomi Horvat from Austrian Bundesliga side Sturm Graz.

    The 26-year-old has made 31 appearances in all competitions so far this season, scoring four goals and registering nine assists.

    Horvat has been capped 12 times by the Slovenia national team and has put pen to paper on a four-and-a-half year contract at Ashton Gate.

    The Robins had reportedly already agreed a deal to sign him in the summer when his contract was due to expire, but the move has been brought forward.

    Colchester have signed 19-year-old Republic of Ireland under-21 attacking midfielder Romeo Akachukwu on loan from Southampton until the end of the season.

    Cheltenham have brought in 19-year-old Wrexham midfielder Harry Ashfield on loan for the rest of the campaign.

    Shrewsbury have purchased Salford defender Kevin Berkoe for an undisclosed fee.

    The 24 year-old previously played for Town head coach Gavin Cowan when he was manager of AFC Telford United.

    Portsmouth have signed versatile forward Jacob Brown on loan from Luton Town until the end of the season.

    The 27-year-old has not scored for the Hatters in his seven League One games this season but has 33 goals in 196 career appearances in the Championship.

    Brown, who has played for the Scotland national team eight times and was part of Luton's Premier League squad in 2023-24, previously had spells at Stoke City and Barnsley.

    "Jacob is a player who has bags of Championship experience and was appearing in the Premier League a little over 18 months ago," Portsmouth boss John Mousinho told the club website.

    "It’s probably been a difficult first half of the season for him at Luton, but he’s coming here looking to get back on track.

    "We feel that he bolsters us in any one of those positions across the front line, so it’s a signing that we’re really excited about."

    Big one in the third tier, this.

    Louie Barry has returned to League One Stockport on loan for a third time from Aston Villa.

    The 22-year-old enjoyed stellar short-term spells at Edgeley Park in each of the past two seasons but saw a loan at Championship Sheffield United cut short before Christmas.

    Wycombe have completed the signing of free-agent Portuguese winger Andre Vidigal, 27, who has been training with the club after leaving Stoke last month.

    Leyton Orient have signed Welsh midfielder Dylan Levitt, 25, on a permanent deal from SPL side Hibernian for an undisclosed fee, signing a deal until 2027 with the option of a further 12 months.

    Sheffield Wednesday have signed defensive midfielder Marvelous Nakamba after his contract was terminated by League One side Luton Town.

    The 32-year-old has struggled for first team action this season at Kenilworth Road with just one league appearance for the Hatters.

    Nakamba has 36 caps for the Zimbabwe national side and represented his country at the Africa Cup of Nations in January.

    He also had previous spells at Aston Villa, Club Brugge and Vitesse.

    Derby County have signed left-back Derry Murkin from Dutch side Utrecht.

    The 26-year-old made nine appearances in the Eredivisie club this season, scoring two goals and providing three assists.

    The Colchester-born defender, who moved to the Netherlands when he was four, will ply his trade in his home country for the first time in his career having previously played for Dutch side Volendam and German club Schalke 04.

    Reading have signed 20-year-old winger Kadan Young on loan from Aston Villa, for whom he assisted a goal in Thursday's Europa League win over Red Bull Salzburg.

    Luton have confirmed they have agreed to terminate the contract of 32-year-old Zimbabwe midfielder Marvelous Nakamba, who has been strongly linked with a move to Sheffield Wednesday.

    Perhaps one of the Championship’s biggest deadline day deals has been confirmed.

    Sheffield United have signed Manchester City midfielder Kalvin Phillips on loan until the end of the season.

    The 30-year-old has only made 32 appearances in all competitions for City since signing from Leeds United for £45m in 2022.

    Phillips played 10 games while on loan at West Ham United in 2024 and featured 19 times for Ipswich Town in the Premier League last season, while also being capped 31 times at international level for England.

    The Blades are 17th in the Championship, seven points clear of the relegation zone and 11 points adrift of the play-off places.

    Crystal Palace have completed the signing of Wolves striker Jorgen Strand Larsen for £48m, paving the way for Southampton forward Adam Armstrong to move to Molineux.

    BBC Sport reported on Sunday that Wolves were close to agreeing a £7m fee with the Saints for the 28-year-old, who has scored 11 goals in 29 games in the Championship this season.

    The League Two promotion race is shaping up to be one for the ages and several of the main runners have added to their ranks for the run-in.

    Cambridge United have bolstered their defence with the signing of 32-year-old former Lincoln and Portsmouth defender Sean Raggett on loan from Rotherham for the remainder of the season.

    Walsall have signed 21-year-old German full-back Jid Okeke on loan from Stockport for the rest of the season, having made 13 league appearances for the Saddlers already this campaign.

    Swindon have won the race to take highly-rated Manchester United and Gibraltar midfielder James Scanlon (pictured), 19, on loan until the end of the season.

    Fleetwood have signed defender Mitch Clark, 26, on loan from League One Port Vale.

    Midfielder Zech Obiero, 21, has joined Tranmere on loan for the rest of the season having made five appearances for League One Leyton Orient this season.

    Watford have signed Udinese defender Saba Goglichidze on loan until the end of the season.

    The 21-year-old has made eight appearances in Serie A this season and also has eight caps for the Georgia national team.

    He will join international team-mate Giorgi Chakvetadze at Vicarage Road.

    Sheffield United are working on a deal to sign Joe Rothwell on loan from Rangers, according to BBC Scotland.

    The 31-year-old was part of Leeds United's Championship title-winning side last season before moving to Scotland.

    Rothwell has made eight appearances for Rangers in the Scottish Premiership this season, registering one assist, but has fallen out of favour since October.
