Liverpool will know they should be ahead on aggregate but the energy they've shown since taking the lead is worth commending. Galatasaray desperately need half-time. The visitors are yet to test Alisson.

    Liverpool 1-0 Galatasaray (1-1 agg)

Florian Wirtz comes inside off the left and lifts a lovely ball in towards Hugo Ekitike but it's just over the Frenchman.

Liverpool would love a second before half-time.

  3. GREAT SAVE!published at 20:44 GMT 18 March

Tottenham 1-0 Atletico Madrid (3-5 agg)

A better effort from Mathys Tel, cutting inside on to his right foot and looking for the bottom corner from 25 yards out. He nearly finds it too, with Juan Musso at full strength down to his left to make a vital save. Spurs pushing for more.

  4. Postpublished at 20:43 GMT 18 March

Bayern Munich 1-0 Atalanta (agg 7-1)

The intensity of this game has evaporated since Harry Kane scored from the spot 15 minutes ago.

Both teams - especially Atalanta - look like they’d be happy to call it quits now.

A reminder that Bayern hold the record for the highest aggregate victory in Champions League history (12–1 vs Sporting CP).

I'm no Liverpool fan, but Szoboszlai must be nailed on for player of the year. He's been so consistent. He's bailed Liverpool out time and again this season.

This shows Liverpool's dominance. Looking at the goalkeeper, Alisson. I am not sure if he has touched the ball with his gloves. They are by far the better team.

Mohamed Salah's deep in-swinging corner is headed back across by Virgil van Dijk. Ugurcan Cakir comes to collect but wins a free-kick.

  9. Spurs fans given hopepublished at 20:40 GMT 18 March

Tottenham 1-0 Atletico Madrid (3-5 agg)

    Phil McNulty
BBC Sport chief football writer at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium

Spurs fans are right into this now. Their team have given them hope and this is not the teak tough Atletico Madrid of old. They can be got at.

The big problem for Spurs is that they simply cannot afford any lapses of concentration or slips at the back.

    Rip roaring atmosphere.

    Liverpool 1-0 Galatasaray (1-1 agg)

The cross is lifted into the far post for Victor Osimhen to attack. He somehow gets his head to it but can only head behind.

Still his arm is causing him plenty of trouble.

Harry Kane now has 28 goals in 34 Champions League games since signing for Bayern Munich in 2023.

No player in Europe has more.

He really is one of a kind, isn't he?

That's a really big save. The roof would have come off this place if that went in from Mathys Tel.

Dominik Szoboszlai is playing like a man who does not want to wake up in the morning no longer in the Champions League.

It might be on for both English sides here now, even if I thought it would be a struggle for both tonight!

Tottenham 1-0 Atletico Madrid (3-5 agg)

That should be another goal for Tottenham. Randal Kolo Muani plays it to Xavi Simons and he knocks it first time to Mathys Tel.

But instead of shooting across goal, he tries to squeeze it in at the near post of Juan Musso, but the Atletico keeper sticks out a hand and makes the save. Tel probably should've done better.

    OsimhenImage source, Getty Images

I can't believe Victor Osimhen hasn't been brought off yet. He's clearly in a lot of pain with his arm and he can barely run because of it.

He's offering nothing for the visitors.

Victor Osimhen is a passenger at the moment. He keeps looking over to the bench, and he is waiting for the substitution.

It is a pleasure to watch Dominik Szoboszlai strike a football. The ball is rolling across his body, and he hits a knuckleball.
