    Lee Turnbull

It was a huge opportunity for Notts County but Janoi Donacien was there.

It's been a good game so far. We know the onus is on Chesterfield.

In case you've just joined us, you've not missed much.

Grimsby's xG of 0.11 will not help their cause to try and pull back their one goal deficit.

    Though Salford's 0.07 isn't hurting either.

10 minutes gone in the second half.

  3. CLOSE!published at 20:24 BST 15 May

Notts County 0-0 Chesterfield (agg 1-0)

    Mayhem in the Chesterfield box.

Tom Iorpenda's low cross finds its way to the back post but Janoi Donacien makes another crucial block to deny Jayden Luker before Alassana Jatta is crowded out as he tries to pounce on the loose ball, with Ryan Boot diving to grab the ball at his feet.

  4. Postpublished at 20:22 BST 15 May

Notts County 0-0 Chesterfield (agg 1-0)

Dangerous ball in from James Berry on the left.

A couple of black-and-white shirts allow it to glide through but County keeper James Belshaw is alive to the danger and holds on safely.

  5. 'Grimsby have to drive forward'published at 20:21 BST 15 May

    Salford 0-0 Grimsby (agg 2-1)

    Matt Dean
    BBC Radio Humberside

The Grimsby players have to do so much more in this half.

They have to drive forward more and bring the players forward too.

  6. Postpublished at 20:20 BST 15 May

Notts County 0-0 Chesterfield (agg 1-0)

County midfielder Ollie Norburn gets a whack in the back under a high ball from Chesterfield opposite number Ryan Stirk.

It's a free-kick but nothing more. Those two had a little coming together a moment or two ago after a meaty challenge in midfield.

Norburn was of course sent-off in this fixture in the league, for throwing Armando Dobra's boot away, earning a second yellow.

  7. Postpublished at 20:20 BST 15 May

    Notts County 0-0 Chesterfield

    Andrew Aloia
BBC Sport, East Midlands at Meadow Lane

It's been a half of nearly moments so far.

Both Chesterfield and Notts County have flooded forward with intent, but this second leg tie is yet to really come to life.

  8. Postpublished at 20:19 BST 15 May

Notts County 0-0 Chesterfield (agg 1-0)

Scott Robertson lines one up from 25 yards after Nick Tsaroulla wins a header on the edge of the box, but he can only curl his effort straight at Chesterfield keeper Ryan Boot,

  9. SECOND HALF AT THE PENINSULApublished at 20:18 BST 15 May

    Salford 0-0 Grimsby (agg 2-1)

Grimsby need to find something, else this will be their final 45 minutes or so of the season.

But will they? Time to find out.

  10. Postpublished at 20:16 BST 15 May

Notts County 0-0 Chesterfield (agg 1-0)

It almost opens up for County's Tom Iorpenda as he's threaded through the middle by Jodi Jones after some sublime control on the left.

He steps inside the first man but dawdles just a little before shooting and it allows Janoi Donacien to make a fine sliding recovery challenge to end the danger.

Notts County 0-0 Chesterfield (agg 1-0)

    Mark Stallard
Ex-Notts County striker on BBC Radio Nottingham

There's a little bit of a nervy edge tonight.

Notts County have not really settled.

  12. Postpublished at 20:13 BST 15 May

Notts County 0-0 Chesterfield (agg 1-0)

Referee Thomas Parsons has a long chat with Chesterfield's Kyle McFadzean after a rather too robust barge from behind trying to close down in midfield.

No cards yet, but any more of those and we might see one.

  13. CLOSE!published at 20:12 BST 15 May

Notts County 0-0 Chesterfield (agg 1-0)

    Cor.

Chesterfield forward James Berry hits his free-kick with pace, power and curl but his effort flicks off the wall and deflects narrowly past the angle of James Belshaw's right post and bar.

The subsequent corner is cleared at the near post, however.

Notts County 0-0 Chesterfield (agg 1-0)

Dilan Markanday has made a bright start and wins a free-kick on the edge of D for Chesterfield after a shove from Jacob Bedeau in full flight.

    James Berry fancies this...

  15. 'One goal away from knocking stuffing out of Grimsby'published at 20:10 BST 15 May

HT: Salford 0-0 Grimsby (agg 2-1)

    Liam Hogan
Former Oldham defender on BBC Radio Manchester

Salford definitely had the best chance of the half but Ryan Graydon didn't get hold of the shot but he should have done better.

There's been moments when they've let Grimsby have the ball but there not been much.

They are one goal away from nearly knocking the stuffing out of Grimsby. If they can repeat this half, they'll be at Wembley.

  16. Postpublished at 20:09 BST 15 May

Notts County 0-0 Chesterfield (agg 1-0)

Positive start from the visitors who are playing pretty directly and at pace, now allowing County to settle into formation at the back.

That said it's County who win the game's first corner which Jodi Jones swings in to the back post before Tom Iorpenda commits a foul trying to get on the end of a loose ball.

  17. 'Chesterfield need to be patient'published at 20:07 BST 15 May

Notts County 0-0 Chesterfield (agg 1-0)

    Lee Turnbull
Former Chesterfield midfielder on BBC Radio Sheffield

It's incredible, this is fourth-tier and nowhere else would you get 17,000 jumping up and down.

Let's hope the game matches the atmosphere.

Notts County might be a bit apprehensive with that one goal lead. Chesterfield need to have ice in their veins. They're one goal down but they've got to be patient.

Notts County 0-0 Chesterfield (agg 1-0)

First sight of County's Tom Iorpenda who blazes towards the right byline before flashing a low cross into the mixer where Spireites stopper Ryan Boot dives to gather at his near post.

  19. Postpublished at 20:05 BST 15 May

Notts County 0-0 Chesterfield (agg 1-0)

First glimpse of goal is for Chesterfield's James Berry, who gets a second bite of the, er, cherry, after seeing a shot charged-down on the left of the box, but can only curl his second effort a couple of yards beyond James Belshaw's far post.

    Mark Stallard
Ex-Notts County striker on BBC Radio Nottingham

Every eventually is possible in the play-offs, but tonight Meadow Lane is the focus.

These games are amazing, potentially a game for a lifetime.
