    What a chance!

Slick break from County as Nick Tsaroulla frees Tom Iorpenda down the right and he slides a perfect cross to the back post where Jayden Luker has the chance to repeat his strike which won the first leg, only to blaze this effort over Ryan Boot's bar from eight yards out.

Two controversial goals from Grimsby mean this game is going into extra time for yet more twists and turns.

Daniel Udoh thought he'd sealed it for Salford with a smart volley that made it 3-1 on aggregate but Grimsby fought back with goals that will likely have Ammies boss Karl Robinson very aggrieved in his post-match interviews.

Kieran Green's header looked to catch Jaze Kabia's arm as it went into the net, while Kabia's strike levelled the tie but the striker might have been offside.

So much to talk about. At least 30 more minutes to add more topics to list.

Luke Garbutt unravels a shot outside the box but it's directed straight into the Grimsby keeper's mitts.

Salford must have thought they had one foot in the final and two quick goals have stunned them.

They will have the upper hand should it go into extra time with that they've got on the bench.

County on the front foot early in the half as the visitors cough up possession in their own half, but Jodi Jones' low cross from the left is gathered by the sprawling Ryan Boot.

Notts County 0-0 Chesterfield (agg 1-0)

    We go again.

As things stand the Magpies are 45 minutes from Wembley.

Chesterfield might have other ideas, however...

Oh. Six juicy minutes added to this second half.

If that's not enough for a winner, they will have whole lot more in extra time.

  9. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 21:03 BST 15 May

    Salford 1-2 Grimsby (agg 3-3)

Salford need to calm this down.

They introduce Ben Woodburn in place of Josh Austerfield.

  10. Postpublished at 21:02 BST 15 May

    Salford 1-2 Grimsby (agg 3-3)

A couple of minutes left of the 90 and Grimsby want this winner while they are in the ascendency.

Charlie Vernam tries to find the trusty head of Kieran Green but a Salford man gets to it to clear it out of danger.

This game has sparked to life and we may just be getting 30 more minutes of it.

  11. 'Both teams giving the ball away'published at 21:00 BST 15 May

HT: Notts County 0-0 Chesterfield (agg 1-0)

    Mark Stallard
Ex-Notts County striker on BBC Radio Nottingham

There's been a lack of quality from both teams. They have been guilty of giving the ball away but it's been fractious and that just leaves it on this knife edge.

We all know that one goal changes the complexion of this tie.

The only stat that really matters is the aggregate scoreline, which remains 1-0 to Notts County, but you'd imagine Paul Cook will be pretty satisfied with what he's seen from his side in the opening 45 minutes.

They have had plenty of the ball in the final third, they are just missing the final touch.

  13. 'Grimsby fans are enjoying themselves'published at 20:56 BST 15 May

    Jaze Kabia (79 mins)

What an incredible five minutes from Grimsby as they level the tie on aggregate!

Jaze Kabia makes the run behind the defenders to drill them in front.

Did he go too early though? In a different competition, it would definitely be undergoing a second look but it's all in the moment in League Two.

Contentious. A complete role reversal after the questionable nature of Salford's winner in the first leg.

Kallum Cesay aims for an immediate reaction to the leveller but sends his strike wide.

This game suddenly feels tense all of a sudden.

You can't take your eyes off this for a moment.

Chesterfield have played some really expansive stuff and arguably edged the first half, but remain behind in the tie.

James Berry has looked lively on the left and has sent a couple of efforts off target and seen another blocked, while at the other end Janoi Donacien has produced two huge blocks to deny Tom Iorpenda and Jayden Luker efforts on goal.

Neither keeper really tested yet, but it's a niggly, intense, 100mph local derby and I can't wait for half-time to end, to be honest.

  17. Postpublished at 20:50 BST 15 May

Notts County 0-0 Chesterfield (agg 1-0)

A fourth shot of the half for James Berry, who collects a pass from John Fleck and fires in an effort from outside the box which he doesn't catch cleanly allowing James Belshaw to hold on low down.

  18. Postpublished at 20:49 BST 15 May

Notts County 0-0 Chesterfield (agg 1-0)

John Fleck whips in a free-kick from the Chesterfield left but once again it's a great defensive header from County to clear their lines.

They'd held firm all night from set-pieces and long throws.

  19. goal

    GOAL: Salford 1-1 Grimsby (3-2 agg)published at 20:47 BST 15 May

    Kieran Green (74 mins)

Salford are fuming but Grimsby's hopes are re-ignited!

Kieran Green leaps high and heads towards goal.

It's soaring into the net, though it does appear to clip Jaze Kabia's elbow as it flies in to prompt immediate calls for handball from the hosts.

The referee doesn't spot it though and the Mariners are back in the game.

  20. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 20:46 BST 15 May

    Salford 1-0 Grimsby (agg 3-1)

    Another Grimsby change.

Jamie Walker makes way for George McEachran.
