    Coventry go into the international break top of the Championship and the only remaining unbeaten side.

    Their 5-0 romp at Sheffield Wednesday at lunchtime took them above Middlesbrough, who suffered their first defeat at Portsmouth.

    Leicester ended their run of four straight draws with a 3-1 win at Swansea to go third while look at Preston and QPR, fourth and sixth... best delete those pre-season relegation predictions before anyone sees them.

    Bristol City's slide continues after their home defeat to the Rs while West Brom were humbled at Millwall who are now level on points with Albion.

    Watford are into the top-10 to ease the pressure on Paolo Pezzolano after a 2-1 win over Oxford United, who slipped into the bottom three today, with Blackburn's draw with Stoke taking them up a place.

    Sheffield United remain bottom after an eighth defeat in nine at Hull City while Wednesday are a place and three points better off.

    Sunday's clash between Ipswich and Norwich looks even bigger, it's not just local pride at stake, there are three valuable points in the bottom of the table battle up for grabs at noon tomorrow.

    Marti Cifuentes side arrest a run of four draws on the run with a deserved victory against Swansea.

    it was a match decorated with two absolute beauties from the Foxes, first Jordan James hitting a curling effort from the left side of the area and Abdul Fatawu doing likewise in the second half.

    In between Swansea had drawn level from teh penalty spot after Wout Faes was adjudged to have brought down Ethan Galbraith.

    Jannik Vestergaard secured the victory with a third after Fatawu had hit the bar with audacious 45 yard hit atfer seeing the Swansea keeper off his line.

    Leicester City are now unbeaten in seven and go into the international break in third while Swansea drop to 11th.

    They have come from behind to take the win and continue an unbeaten run of six games.

    Emil Riis put Bristol City ahead in the first half but a thumping strike from Kone, his fourth league goal of the season, pulled them level.

    Paul Smyth secured the win with a headed goal six minutes from time.

    Derby just couldn't find a way past Alex McCarthy to complete the turnaround at Pride Park.

    Adam Armstrong bundled through and finished neatly to put the visitors ahead but the Rams rallied and Patrick Agyemang's first County goal, a header from Andi Weimann's cross, ensured a point, though he spurned a chance after the break while McCarthy made a string of good saves to ensure a point for Saints.

    Portsmouth have ended Middlesbrough's unbeaten run!

    The Blues took the lead in the first half thanks to a well taken strike by Yang Min-hyeok and held firm to secure the three points and a clean sheet.

    That is their third win of the campaign, in defeat Boro drop off the top of the table down to second.

    Big win for Preston.

    The first half was forgettable but the Lilywhites sprung into gear in the second half and Thierry Small broke the deadlock with a deflected strike against his former club and Dan Jebbison slid home an Alfie Devine cross to seal the points to keep North End right among the early pace-setters.
