How on earth have they found something to rule that out? It's a joke...

    Rob, Manchester

The referee might have spotted a push, but did anyone else?

    Tom, Manchester

There wasn't much contact from what I could see, from Hasegawa or anyone else in sky blue.

An interesting trivia tidbit for you while Manchester City mount their latest attack:

Vivianne Miedema's two headed goals this afternoon took the Blues headed goals total in the Women's Super League this season to 15.

That's as many total goals as West Ham (15) have scored, and close to double Leicester City's overall total (9).

It's just the movement of Manchester City that impresses me. There are players popping up everywhere and Vivianne Miedema is running the channels.

If Manchester United want to even get a foothold back into this match, they need to start actually playing football. Millie Turner is out there asking for options because going long isn't working.

There's confusion in the media box as to why that goal was disallowed. Watching live, and on the replays we've seen, we couldn't see any issues. The City players were pretty perplexed.

The ladies in red already look so defeated and tired. It is going to be a long afternoon for Manchester United.

    David, Birmingham

If we're being honest City could have already been four or five goals to the good but for a few good Tullis-Joyce saves and that disallowed goal.

    Everton 2-3 Liverpool

Liverpool hang on to record their first away league win of the season.

The Reds were 3-0 up, Everton got a goal back before Reds captain Grace Fisk was sent off. Everton scored again but could not complete what would have been a tremendous fightback.

  7. DISALLOWED GOALpublished at 13:57 GMT 28 March

    Manchester United 0-2 Manchester City

Manchester City have the ball in the net for a third time but it's not going to count.

Rebecca Knaak, who netted the opener in the reverse fixture in November, thumped the header goalwards but referee Kirsty Dowle spotted a push from Aoba Fujino on a Manchester United player moments before it hit the net.

Almost a third for Manchester City as Bunny Shaw sits down both Manchester United centre-halves in the box before being denied by another sharp Phallon Tullis-Joyce stop.

The frustrations are starting to show for the home side as captain Maya le Tissier commits an unneccesary foul on the halfway line.

Not many more embarassing things than getting the runaround from your local rivals on your own patch.

  10. YELLOW CARDpublished at 13:54 GMT 28 March

Liverpool are trying to see this one out and goalkeeper Jennifer Falk takes too long to take a free-kick and gets booked for timewasting.

It's hard to believe that we're watching first against second in the Women's Super League!

Manchester City are running riot out there. There was brilliant football in the build up to it, and the players were queuing up to put it in.

Who on earth was marking Vivianne Miedema?

    Emma Sanders
BBC Sport women’s football news reporter at Old Trafford

Manchester United's players had a team huddle in the box immediately after Vivianne Miedema's first goal but it didn't seem to make a difference.

Maya Le Tissier just got her positioning all wrong when Kerstin Casparij's cross came in and Miedema just had to nod it past Phallon Tullis-Joyce. Le Tissier was fuming with herself.

Those two quick fire goals have taken Miedema to 97 Women's Super League goals across her stints with Arsenal and Man City.

    Legend indeed.

    On the first goal:

Vivianne Miedema didn't have to work too hard to get free, it only took a couple of steps.

The word 'legend' is thrown out a lot these days but, in the Women's Super League, they don't come more legendary than her.

    Game on!

Liverpool were 3-0 ahead and cruising but they have a nervous finish now. Aurora Galli plays a clever lofted pass into the penalty area, Zara Kramzar has so much space in the penalty area to take a touch and slot a finish past Jennifer Falk.

    It's two!

And it's another simple headed goal from Vivianne Miedema.

The Dutch international gets up between the United centre-halves in the six yard box to nod Aoba Fujino's dinked delivery into the back of the net.

I don't think there's anyone surprise by that goal. Manchester City have been absolutely all over United. The hosts have barely had a touch in City's half. The City fans are on their feet chanting but the rest of Old Trafford is very quiet.
