Shrewsbury clear their lines and a huge misunderstanding almost sees substitute Tommy McDermott go in one-on-one 40 yards from goal but Sutton keeper Jack Sims comes out well to slide at McDermott's feet, keeping the ball in the process.

Sutton left-back Jack Taylor cuts inside on his right-foot and hits a great strike which is well tipped over by Shrewsbury keeper Will Brook.

The resulting corner is well blocked by the visitors following Jake Taylor's shot from the edge of the box.

A bit of argy bargy including Shrewsbury substitute Tommy McDermott, who falls to the ground, but the referee is not interested in taking any further matters having already sent off two players today.

A really big chance for Chuks Aneke there.

He found himself free as a bird in behind and had space and time but couldn't find the target.

Substitution for the home side and Charlie Bell is on for Jayden Harris. I am not sure how Harris didn't get his name on the scoresheet today.

Meanwhile, Shrewsbury sub Chuks Aneke is played in via a long ball but skews his effort wide with his left foot.

We’ve seen four upsets in this FA Cup second round already. Four League One sides knocked out by League Two sides.

Can Chesterfield down another third-tier club? Doncaster will certainly hope not.

That has put a pin in the atmosphere at Sutton, which had been bouncing until around 10 minutes ago.

Sutton fans will be wondering with a man advantage, and a goal advantage going into additional time, how have they found themselves in their current situation.

Only two of the Chesterfield starting line-up from the 5-1 loss to Doncaster in the EFL Trophy on Tuesday night are in the side from the beginning this evening - skipper Chey Dunkley and Liam Mandeville.

Spireites boss Paul Cook makes just one change from their 2-1 loss to Swindon in League Two last Saturday as Ryan Stirk replaces the experienced midfielder John Fleck, who drops to bench.

Similarly, Doncaster make 10 alterations from the victory over Chesterfield in midweek, but are effectively unchanged from the side that beat Peterborough 2-1 in League One last weekend.

Amid plenty of drama at Gander Green Lane, we've got another tie coming up shortly.

Four League One sides have already suffered upsets at the hands of League Two opposition in the FA Cup second round.

That will surely give Chesterfield reason for belief against Doncaster this evening after they also overcame League One high-fliers Stevenage 1-0 in the previous round.

Meanwhile, Doncaster, who are 16 league places above Chesterfield, edged past Crewe 2-1 in their first-round clash.

These two sides met in the EFL Trophy just four days ago and Rovers ran out comfortable winners, beating the Spireites 5-1.

But they both line up with very different teams this evening, so that's unlikely to be much of a barometer for this game. Team news on the way...

I said in the first half that Sutton gamble with their playing out from the back.

John Marquis gambled and it has paid off for him.

During the interval between full-time and extra time, Shrewsbury have made a change.

Tommy McDermott has come on for the final 30 minutes in place of goalscorer Ismeal Kabia.

Until Ismeal Kabia's stunning equaliser, it looked like Kai Jennings' goal direct from a corner was going to be enough for National League Sutton United to knock out Shrewsbury Town of League Two.
