  2. Postpublished at 14:04 GMT 14 March

    Middlesbrough 1-0 Bristol City

Middlesbrough are just knocking the ball about now after their goal.

Bristol City are dropping a little deeper now as Aidan Morris hits a great strike from the edge of the box which is saved by Radek Vitek.

  3. 'More quality needed up top'published at 14:04 GMT 14 March

    Coventry 0-1 Southampton

    Steve Ogrizovic
Ex-Coventry City goalkeeper on BBC CWR

We're having success now getting balls in the box and getting in the final third of the pitch.

We've got to just have someone on the end of the balls going in, we just need to see the quality up top that we've been seeing all season.

  4. Postpublished at 14:02 GMT 14 March

    Coventry 0-1 Southampton

Ephron Mason-Clark digs in another brilliant cross from the left, inside the six-yard box, but it is slightly over Ellis Simms and Ryan Manning heads out.

With Coventry’s track record of scoring in the last 15 minutes of matches, Casper [Jander] really needs to take one of the numerous chances Coventry are gifting him. The Sky Blues are on the ropes and we need to finish this game off while we still can. If we do go up, finishing needs to be better.

    Oxford 1-0 Charlton

Oxford have looked much better in this half, the hosts are the ones taking it to the Addicks despite being in the lead.

It's been a game full of fouls breaking play up so far.

But as it stands, Oxford United are heading for a fourth consecutive Championship win that would life them out of the relegation zone, for now.

[Re: John 13:56] Maybe if Coventry started focusing on finding the back of the net rather than the back of Saints’ player calves, they might be getting something from the game...

    Coventry 0-1 Southampton

Southampton get a corner this time and Finn Azaz applauds the attempt of an early ball into the middle by Casper Jander.

It is whipped in with pace by James Bree but Carl Rushworth catches well on the stretch.

  9. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 13:58 GMT 14 March

    Middlesbrough 1-0 Bristol City

This is not what Boro fans want to see, both in this game and with the run-in ahead of them.

Hayden Hackney is unable to continue as he gives the armband to Luke Ayling. Seems like he's tweaked something as he gingerly leaves the field after a few minutes of trying to play through the injury.

Alex Gilbert is on to replace him.

  10. Postpublished at 13:57 GMT 14 March

    Coventry 0-1 Southampton

Coventry earn themselves another corner and Ephron Mason-Clark is starting to provide a real threat from the left hand side.

Matt Grimes whips it in but Ellis Simms mistimes his jump and it goes out for a Southampton throw.

Fair play to Southampton for taking their chances, but my word the time wasting since minute one has been embarrassing. And don't even get me started on the ref!

    John, Coventry

  12. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 13:56 GMT 14 March

    Oxford 1-0 Charlton

Oxford win a free-kick high up the pitch as Amari'i Bell goes into the book.

Jamie Donley fires it in low towards the near post and it goes wide off Ciaron Brown.

Conor Coventry comes off for the visitors, with Jayden Fevrier on in his place.

  13. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 13:56 GMT 14 March

    Middlesbrough 1-0 Bristol City

Bristol City make their first change of the day as Sinclair Armstrong makes way for Sam Bell.

  14. 'The Riverside erupts!'published at 13:55 GMT 14 March

    Middlesbrough 1-0 Bristol City

    Neil Maddison
Former Middlesbrough midfielder on BBC Radio Tees

Hackney hits it first time but Castledine still has a bit to do. He hits it high into the bar and it's into the back of the net - the Riverside erupts!

The objective of the game now is to see it out, try and get a second goal as the game opens up.

As they're probing we have to maintain a good shape, we've got to stay really solid and organised.

  15. Postpublished at 13:55 GMT 14 March

    Middlesbrough 1-0 Bristol City

Big goal for the hosts but they are a man down for now as captain Hayden Hackney is being treated for an injury.

Once upon a time our new passionate manager got us playing super dynamic 'Struberball' - playing on the front foot and scoring hatfuls of goals. Now we can't buy a goal, let alone a win, playing a low block and yet I would take a draw to stop the rot.

  17. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 13:54 GMT 14 March

    Coventry 0-1 Southampton

Coventry have huffed and puffed since the goal but have only created one clear-cut chance as another over-hit cross goes out for a goal-kick to the visitors.

Change for Southampton this time - Cameron Bragg is off for Shea Charles as we enter the final 25 minutes.

  18. SUBSTITUTIONSpublished at 13:54 GMT 14 March

    Oxford 1-0 Charlton

Matt Bloomfield turns to his bench for the first time with a double substitution.

Off come Aidomo Emakhu and Yunus Konak, to be replaced by Jamie McDonnell and Przemysław Płacheta.

  19. Postpublished at 13:53 GMT 14 March

    Coventry 0-1 Southampton

Casper Jander really should do better here.

Coventry keeper Carl Rushworth is caught in no-man's land but Jander can not poke the ball past him, otherwise it would have been an open goal and surely 2-0 Saints.

Shades of Federico Valverde's first goal for Real Madrid against Manchester City in midweek there - only if Jander had got his first touch right though of course.

Deadlock broken at the Riverside and it's the man off the bench!

Hayden Hackney squares the ball across the box on a plate for Leo Castledine who finishes straight down the middle of Radek Vitek's goal.
