  1. YELLOW CARDpublished at 13:39 GMT 14 March

    Oxford 0-0 Charlton

Harry Clarke goes into the book for a challenge on Jack Currie, giving Oxford a free-kick in a good position wide on the left.

Cameron Brannagan fires it in and it's blocked by Conor Coventry - brave defending that has him on the deck.

On we go. That's another shot, by the way.

  2. Postpublished at 13:39 GMT 14 March

    Middlesbrough 0-0 Bristol City

Decent opportunity for Bristol City as Emil Riis makes a run and creates an angle for himself but he drags his effort wide.

That's his first sniff at goal this afternoon.

Coventry just sitting a little bit too deep. It all seems too easy, you can't afford to let them bend balls in.

Everybody misses the ball, you think he's got away with it as it's touched onto the post, but Downes is on the move in the penalty area and puts it into an empty net.

Coventry have got a lot to do here now.

GOAL: Coventry 0-1 Southamptonpublished at 13:36 GMT 14 March

    Flynn Downes (48 mins)

Southampton players celebrate Flynn Downes' goal at CoventryImage source, PA Media

    The visitors break the deadlock!

It's a wonderful cross from the right by Kuryu Matsuki which is flicked towards goal by Cyle Larin and Carl Rushworth makes an equally wonderful finger-tip save to touch the ball on to the post.

Unfortunately for Rushworth, there is Flynn Downes who continued his run, to tap in the rebound.

A huge moment in the race for promotion and in the hunt for the top six.

  5. Postpublished at 13:35 GMT 14 March

    Middlesbrough 0-0 Bristol City

Will we get a breakthrough in the second half at the Riverside?

Middlesbrough will certainly be looking to do just that after their setback here against Charlton last time out.

You'd imagine it'll be more of the same from Bristol City - try to frustrate the hosts and hope to hit them on the break.

Middlesbrough paying for not investing in a central striker during the window. Strelec is out of his depth and Conway is anonymous and ineffective week in, week out. My kingdom for Josh Coburn.

    Keith, New Brighton

Boro academy graduate Coburn has three goals in his past six games for Millwall but also very much conforms to the concept of a traditional number nine, which his former club seem to be missing.

We are back under way in our three lunchtime Championship games.

Let's hope for a goal, or three, in the second period.

Boro need to get Brian Deane out of retirement. 15 players between us and the goal at all times and half of our shots hit our own players. Hoof it into the box and get your elbows out.

    Paul, Northumberland

Will try and get this down to Kim Hellberg as quickly as we can...

  10. 'Frustrating first half'published at 13:25 GMT 14 March

    HT: Middlesbrough 0-0 Bristol City

    Neil Maddison
Former Middlesbrough midfielder on BBC Radio Tees

Frustrating first half, but we've been on the front foot.

We're talking about putting the ball in the back of the net and you're just hoping we can give the fans something to keep shouting out.

The fans are right behind them, we've just got to have that quality with the final ball, but right now that's not the case.

Hellberg will be trying to get something out of them for the second half.

  11. 'Oxford must step it up in the second half'published at 13:24 GMT 14 March

    HT: Oxford 0-0 Charlton

    Peter Rhoades-Brown
Former Oxford and Chelsea winger on BBC Radio Oxford

We've not had the chances or possession, but I think United will go into half-time thinking they've done ok.

Charlton will be pleased with the possession but they'll be very disappointed they've not created one clear-cut chance in that half. United have defended so well.

We will have to step it up a bit in the second half, Mills will be the threat for us.

  12. 'A fair result so far'published at 13:21 GMT 14 March

    HT: Coventry 0-0 Southampton

    Steve Ogrizovic
Ex-Coventry City goalkeeper on BBC CWR

You can see Southampton have come to become difficult to beat.

They've had a few early opportunities, the set-play was the closest, but Coventry have slowly come into the game, getting in wide areas and getting crosses in.

0-0, and probably a fair result so far, I think one goal could settle this match.

  13. HALF-TIMEpublished at 13:18 GMT 14 March

    Middlesbrough 0-0 Bristol City

Hayden Hackney takes on Bristol City's Scott TwineImage source, Shutterstock

As poorly as Bristol City started this game off in the first 15/20 minutes, their gameplan seems to be working.

As expected Middlesbrough have had more of the ball but have been poor in the final third.

Gerhard Struber will be pleased his side have kept the backdoor closed at the break

    And that is half time.

Not a lot to say, really.

We did have one shot, eventually.

Jamie Donley putting a free-kick over the bar.

Yeah. See you in a bit!

  15. Postpublished at 13:18 GMT 14 March

    Middlesbrough 0-0 Bristol

A Middlesbrough corner is cleared to the edge of the box which falls to Riley McGree who hits a low sweet strike but it's straight into the hands of Radek Vitek.

That'll be the last action of the half.

  16. HALF-TIMEpublished at 13:17 GMT 14 March

    Coventry 0-0 Southampton

Tatsuhiro Sakamoto heads towards goalImage source, Shutterstock

At the break at the CBS Arena we remain goalless.

It's been a half that really got going right in its final moments.

Southampton's Daniel Peretz had to be alert to make a stunning save to deny Liam Kitching before Haji Wright volleyed wide in injury-time.

It remains hard to predict who is going to break the deadlock in this one as both sides have looked threatening going forward.

    Good game, this.

  17. INJURY TIMEpublished at 13:16 GMT 14 March

    Oxford 0-0 Charlton

It has been a game of set-pieces so far, very little created in open play.

And Charlton definitely could have made more of this one.

Sonny Carey swings in an inviting corner and yet there's no-one going for it and it bounces in the box before being cleared.

We're in to two added minutes of one of the quieter halves of football I've watched recently.

  18. CLOSE!published at 13:16 GMT 14 March

    Coventry 0-0 Southampton

Coventry really banging on the door now just before half-time.

Haji Wright peels off his man and swings his left leg on the volley but his effort is a whisker wide of the target.

  19. YELLOW CARDpublished at 13:16 GMT 14 March

    Middlesbrough 0-0 Bristol

Second booking of the game and it's another Bristol City defender as Cameron Pring is a little late with a challenge.

Not ideal having two defenders go into the book with a makeshift backline.
