    Southend 0-0 Wealdstone

Wealdstone have Southend stretched but Omar Mussa takes too long before deciding to send a pass into Olufela Olomola and his team-mate gets punished with an offside call.

That could be it for them.

    Southend 0-0 Wealdstone

Nathan Tshikuna's cross from a corner meets Deon Woodman but Southend clear.

    Penalties looming...

  3. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 90 + 2 mins

    Southend 0-0 Wealdstone

More Wealdstone changes as they prepare for penalties.

Dylan Kadji off, Olufela Olomola on.

  4. INJURY TIMEpublished at 90 mins

    Southend 0-0 Wealdstone

Lots of players going to ground means lots of added time. Eight whole minutes, in fact.

Enough for a goal but is the quality there?

We'll go straight to penalties if not.

  5. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 88 mins

    Southend 0-0 Wealdstone

Charley Kendall's pass is into unoccupied space to allow Wealdstone to make another change.

Anthony Georgiou is withdrawn to make room for Omar Mussa.

  6. Postpublished at 87 mins

    Southend 0-0 Wealdstone

Jack Hinchy shoots from outside of the box and it's not half bad but Southend stopper Collin Andeng-Ndi is agile to parry it away from his net.

I think Southend are trying to put an extra man in a forward position.

It looks like they want to go and win it.

  8. Postpublished at 82 mins

    Southend 0-0 Wealdstone

There's some sharp intakes of breath as Southend stopper Collin Andeng-Ndi stumbles after coming off his line to collect a corner.

Anthony Georgiou fails to capitalise though, chipping his effort high into the air and into the stands.

  9. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 81 mins

    Southend 0-0 Wealdstone

Harry Boyes and Tom Hopper are brought on to replace Leon Chambers-Parillon and Andy Dallas for Southend.

This game is in the crescendo.

Will it have a sparkling finish?

  10. Postpublished at 80 mins

    Southend 0-0 Wealdstone

This game has suddenly had an injection of excitement.

The ball is thrashed into the Wealdstone box and Micah Obiero controls it excellently.

He's smothered by yellow shirt though and he can't get his shot past them to see it deflected out of play.

  11. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 78 mins

    Southend 0-0 Wealdstone

Wealdstone put on some fresh legs as time runs low.

Jack Hinchy replaces Sean Adarkwa, while Dom Hutchinson makes way for Michael Adu-Poku.

  12. 'Tense'published at 18:10 BST 17 May

With another break in play, this time for players down with cramp, some fans have started to launch paper aeroplanes from the upper tier.

It's tense out there, the Southend fans to my right are starting to believe their side can produce something in these final moments, that cross nearly snuck in!

  13. HITS THE CROSSBARpublished at 76 mins

    Southend 0-0 Wealdstone

Keenan Appiah-Forson's ball lands on the very top of the crossbar but Wealdstone keeper Dante Baptiste takes no chances and tips it over.

    Better from the Shrimpers.

  14. Postpublished at 75 mins

    Southend 0-0 Wealdstone

Leon Chambers-Parillon looks like he's struggling for Southend.

Wealdstone have two players on the grass suffering with cramp.

There are team talks trying to inspire, a raucous crowd hoping to create a buzz, but a lot of discomfort on that pitch.

  15. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 72 mins

    Southend 0-0 Wealdstone

Southend's Charley Kendall comes on for Harry Cardwell.

There have only been two really good chances in this match and Cardwell produced one of them when he struck the post.

But that was early in the game and his impact has been muted since.

  16. Postpublished at 71 mins

    Southend 0-0 Wealdstone

Oh what a chance for Southend!

Leon Chambers-Parillon has Andy Dallas to his right and Jack Bridge to his left, both with chances to go for goal.

He opts for Bridge but the first touch is poor and the Wealdstone defender is able to get into position to put a stop to the move.

  17. Straight to pens?published at 67 mins

    Southend 0-0 Wealdstone

Leon Chambers-Parillon is on the deck giving his thigh a massage.

There's some tired bodies out there already but as with the FA Vase, there will be no extra time to endure if we don't see a winner over the next 20 plus minutes.

Straight to the dreaded penalty shootout if so...

  18. Postpublished at 64 mins

    Southend 0-0 Wealdstone

Keenan Appiah-Forson seems to have brought a little energy to the pitch for Southend but they still seem rather toothless.

Wealdstone, meanwhile, are looking slightly more dangerous but there's a few sloppy passes creeping in.

It's all feeling rather lethargic in this second half. Hasn't really got going at all.

Wealdstone have just shown first signs of tiredness.

It's a big 25 minutes, it becomes more and more tense.
