Leaders of League Two Bromley host Bristol Rovers looking to maintain their promotion push.

Andy Woodman's men have hit a bit of a wall of late, though, having drawn five of their last six games. Their lead over MK Dons has been cut to two points.

Rovers sit 19th, but with three wins and a draw from their last five league games, could be well placed to cause issues for Bromley.

The big games just keep coming today - what a humdinger this is in League Two.

Swindon are having a bit of a wobble in the promotion race with last Saturday's 2-2 draw with lowly Crawley making it five points from their past five games, however Ian Holloway's men could return to the automatic promotion places with a win.

MK Dons could go top for the first time this season should they claim three points while leaders Bromley fail to beat Bristol Rovers at home.

Paul Warne's side romped to a 5-1 win at Gillingham on Tuesday which made it 38 goals scored in their 18 away games - 10 more than any other side in the division.

It also made it a dozen games unbeaten and they look the team to beat in the promotion race at present.

Last time these sides met on Boxing Day, it was Doncaster who looked firm favourites for relegation while Blackpool were breezing airily into the realms of mid-table.

But as the business end of the season approaches, the Tangerines have thudded back into the bottom four while Rovers – despite a run of three games without a win – are perched in 18th place.

So congested is the tussle to avoid League Two, though, that Blackpool will leapfrog their hosts if they triumph at Keepmoat Stadium this afternoon.

Their recent away record inspires little confidence, having failed to win any of their last seven games on the road and shipped four goals in both the most recent of those, at Lincoln and Wimbledon.

But Ian Evatt’s side will take heart from the fact that Rovers, who won three of their first four home games after promotion, have since been inconsistent on their own turf and were recently walloped 4-0 by Cardiff before scrambling a 1-1 draw against Luton on Tuesday night.

With attendances averaging under 10,000 this season, Wigan Athletic are encouraging season ticket holders to bring a friend for free today to 'witness all the drama'.

Sadly most of the drama has seen them battling to avoid dropping to the fourth tier for the first time since 1997.

Bradford have won two on the bounce and will be chasing another three points to bolster their play-off hopes and are unbeaten in their last 12 too against teams from Greater Manchester.
