  1. GREAT SAVE!published at 12:40 GMT 14 March

    Lincoln 0-0 Stockport

Jack Moylan must have thought this was in.

The Imps midfielder meets a bouncing ball on the edge of the box with a sweet volley which is destined for the bottom corner until Corey Addai turns it away low to his left.

  2. Postpublished at 12:39 GMT 14 March

    Harrogate 0-0 Salford

Decent start for the EFL's bottom club in terms of possession, although they're yet to seriously trouble Salford.

Jacob Slater's header sailed wide from Reece Smith's cross, but no goals so far - and those, of course, have been the main problem for Harrogate all season.

  3. Postpublished at 12:39 GMT 14 March

    Lincoln 0-0 Stockport

Brad Hills nods a looping clearance into touch near the corner flag to give Lincoln the first chance of a Tom Hamer long throw into the mixer from the left.

The missile bounces level with the far post and is turned goalwards but Hills is able to clear the danger.

  4. Postpublished at 12:37 GMT 14 March

    Lincoln 0-0 Stockport

Odin Bailey drives down the left and wins Stockport, in their green and white away strip, their first corner.

Ollie Norwood whips in a dangerous cross which keeper George Wickens flaps at under his bar but the Imps are able to scramble away.

  5. Postpublished at 12:35 GMT 14 March

    Notts County 0-0 Chesterfield

Some tasty challenges going in already... after all, Nottinghamshire vs Derbyshire is a derby of sorts!

Notts County's Matt Dennis gets to his feet after a crunching tackle and for now referee Matthew Corlett is keeping his cards out of sight.

  6. GREAT SAVE!published at 12:35 GMT 14 March

    Rotherham 0-0 Bolton

A good hit by Sam Nombe forces Jack Bonham into a smart save!

That came from nowhere after Bolton lost the ball in the middle. Rotherham carry a threat today.

  7. Postpublished at 12:34 GMT 14 March

    Lincoln 0-0 Stockport

As you'd imagine there's a crackling atmosphere at the LNER Stadium today.

The Imps have started on the front foot and Jack Moylan, who signed a new deal yesterday, has seen a left-footed drive from 18 yards deflected behind for the first corner.

Reeco Hackett's deep delivery is nodded goalwards by Tom Hamer but it deflects over the bar off Ethan Pye for another set-piece.

Hamer meets the next with a glancing header but this time it flies wide of Corey Addai's goal.

  8. Postpublished at 12:33 GMT 14 March

    Rotherham 0-0 Bolton

An early chance for Bolton as Corey Blackett-Taylor's cross is flapped at by Ted Cann.

Reece James puts it behind for the corner, which ultimately comes to nothing. But early intent for the visitors.

Rod McDonald and Harald Nilsen Tangen also start for the Magpies, while Conor Grant, Tyrese Hall and Lewis Macari all revert to the bench.

Chesterfield boss Paul Cook has made four changes, with Armando Dobra and Lee Bonis linking up in attack and Tom Pearce and Liam Mandeville also starting.

Malik Owolabi-Belewu, Ryan Stirk, James Berry and Will Grigg, who started in the 3-2 defeat to Shrewsbury, are all among the substitutes.

McKenna is on the bench alongside Lewis Cass, Tom Hill and Jack Muldoon, who are all back in the squad.

Salford captain Luke Garbutt returns after serving a two-match suspension, with Adebola Oluwo also coming into the starting XI while Zach Awe and Haji Mnoga miss out.

  16. Red-hot Imps seeking six of the bestpublished at 12:20 GMT 14 March

    Lincoln v Stockport (12:30 GMT)

If you wanted a barometer of just how far Lincoln City have come, they were sung about at a Champions League knockout tie on Tuesday night.

A decade ago the Imps were slogging their way towards a 13th-placed finish in the National League.

Today they have a chance to open a seven-point lead at the top of League One, leading to fans of Premier League strugglers Tottenham leaving their 5-2 defeat at Atletico Madrid singing the self deprecating 'Lincoln away, ole, ole.'

Michael Skubala's side may well host Spurs in the Championship next season, they are seeking a sixth straight win, and sixth straight clean sheet, as they host Stockport this lunchtime, and, incredibly, a 20th game unbeaten - their last defeat came on 22 November.

While they remain fifth, the Hatters' own promotion push is faltering and Dave Challinor's side are seeking to avoid a third straight defeat in the EFL for the first time in 15 years, at a ground where they have won on just two of their past 17 visits.

What a way to start the day!

  17. Bolton looking to keep pushing at struggling Rotherhampublished at 12:18 GMT 14 March

Third-placed Bolton Wanderers will be hoping to stay ahead of Bradford City in League One on Saturday lunchtime, as they head to the New York Stadium to face Rotherham United.

With the Bantams, who are level on points in fourth, not in action until later in the afternoon against Wigan Athletic, there is a chance to open up a three-point gap and also go within six points of Cardiff City in the final automatic promotion spot.

They go into the game in good form, too, having won their last two and three of their last six, and remained unbeaten in that time.

Rotherham are currently in the relegation zone, three points adrift of Blackpool, with just one win in their last six. Today will be a huge test for Matt Hamshaw's side.

  18. Super Saturday in store in third tierpublished at 12:16 GMT 14 March

    League One

With 10 games to go this could be a monumental day in the fight at the top and bottom of League One, not to mention the play-off race.

By the time Cardiff kick-off at Exeter this afternoon they could find themselves seven points adrift of Lincoln, who host Stockport at 12:30 GMT with the Hatters' own play-off place looking more than a touch precarious.

Third-placed Bolton will seek to keep the pressure on as they head to lowly Rotherham in the other early kick-off while later on there are huge face-offs between Doncaster and Blackpool and Northampton and Burton in the battle at the bottom while Plymouth head to Reading in a game with big top-six implications too.

Biggest day of the season so far? Not going to argue...

  19. Magpies aim to steal a march by downing Spireitespublished at 12:14 GMT 14 March

Notts County v Chesterfield (12:30 GMT)

After seeing Fortress Meadow Lane breached a fortnight ago, it’s time for Notts County to lock the gate again as they look to charge back into the top three.

The Magpies had looked formidable on their own patch, reeling off five straight victories prior to that late 1-0 defeat at the hands of Grimsby after Lee Ndlovu’s dismissal reduced them to 10 men.

Three points today would lift Martin Paterson’s side back into an automatic promotion spot, at least until Cambridge play Gillingham later in the afternoon.

The problem is that opponents Chesterfield haven’t been particularly compliant on recent trips to Nottingham – they are unbeaten in their last three visits and also overcame County 2-0 at home on Boxing Day.

Although the Spireites’ recent form is patchy, with one victory in four games, any kind of positive result this afternoon will boost their chances of squeezing through the bottleneck of teams currently jostling for the play-offs.

  20. Salford pose threat to Harrogate's renewed hopes of survivalpublished at 12:12 GMT 14 March

    Harrogate v Salford (12:30 GMT)

Harrogate Town manager Simon WeaverImage source, Shutterstock Editorial

Five weeks ago, only the most fervent optimists could have strung together much of a case for Harrogate Town’s EFL status stretching into a seventh year.

Winless in 20 games and five points short of 22nd place, the Sulphurites’ prospects looked gloomy – but a five-match unbeaten run, including victories against Cambridge and Barrow, have provided a sliver of hope.

“We’ve put up a real fight and we are properly in the ring now,” long-serving Harrogate boss Simon Weaver told BBC Radio York. “There's not many people who’ve got games in hand and we’re in contention.”

Despite a 4-1 defeat at MK Dons last weekend, Weaver’s side can clamber out of the bottom two if they manage to glean anything today against promotion-chasing Salford City.

The Ammies, who begin the day in sixth place, have recently emerged from a sticky patch of their own following a run of five defeats in six games and are looking to back up successive wins over Barnet and Walsall.
