Tottenham forward Richarlison heads the ball down and it won't quite land to Dominic Solanke.

Former Wolves midfielder on 5 Sports Extra

This is the problem for Nottingham Forest because as soon as they open up, Aston Villa attack with such pace and accuracy that it's going to be difficult.

    Sunderland 0-0 Tottenham

Tottenham win their first corner of the game. Pedro Porro swings it in and it's headed off the line. The wind is clearly blowing the corners towards the goal here as it's happened at both ends.

    Nottingham Forest 0-1 Aston Villa

    Nick Mashiter
BBC Sport football news reporter at the City Ground

It took a while for the Aston Villa fans to realise they had scored, with the ball barely making the net ripple.

Forest were opened up too easily and Murillo got in a muddle to bundle the ball past Matz Sels.

Sels has also just kept Forest from going 2-0 down as Ollie Watkins was well onside after going through. Had he scored it would have stood.

Such a beautifully crafted goal from Aston Villa. Even thought it goes in off a Forest player, there's excellent build up.

  6. Postpublished at 14:25 BST 12 April

    Crystal Palace 0-0 Newcastle

Slight concern for Crystal Palace as Brennan Johnson is down on the floor holding his ankle.

It looks like Ismaila Sarr is about to come on in his place but Johnson gets back on his feet after some medical attention and Oliver Glasner instructs the Senegal international to settle back in among the substitutes.

    Nottingham Forest 0-1 Aston Villa

That could and perhaps should be 2-0 to Villa.

Ollie Watkins is through on goal, but his stabbed finish is tipped wide by Matz Sels. The offside flag goes up, but replays should that the Villa striker was in fact onside. It would have stood.

Spurs are one of two teams yet to be awarded a penalty in the Premier League this season.

    Sunderland 0-0 Tottenham

Randal Kolo Muani was in a bit of an Omar Alderete and Luke O'Nien sandwich for that incident. Well he was the sandwich filling and they were the bread. Neither slice of bread fouled him in the end.

If Kolo Muani hadn't gone looking for it he would have been fouled anyway by the Sunderland player sliding in. Instead he actually fouls Alderete, he throws the leg out.

    Crystal Palace 0-0 Newcastle

Anthony Gordon has scored in three consecutive Premier League matches.

He finds himself in a promising position here and gets his shot away from the edge of the box, but no way through a sea of Crystal Palace defenders.

It's overturned. No penalty for Spurs. Randal Kolo Muani was not fouled.

GOAL - Nottingham Forest 0-1 Aston Villapublished at 14:22 BST 12 April

    Murillo own-goal (23 mins)

Disaster for Nottingham Forest, and it comes from nothing.

Lucas Digne slips in Morgan Rogers down the left side of the Forest box, the England man fires in a dangerous low cross, and Murillo can do nothing but inadvertently divert the ball past his own goalkeeper.

Both sets of supporters have joined in a minute's applause in memory of Crystal Palace fan Rory Wilder, who sadly died at the age of just 18. A lovely tribute.

Referee Robert Jones is told to go to the screen which more often that not would indicate this would be overturned.

If I was refereeing it I wouldn't give a penalty for that. Kolo Muani throws his right leg out and initiates the challenge.

A throw-in for Newcastle in the final third. Tino Livramento hurls the ball into a busy six-yard box before Chris Richards clears the danger.

This game is still searching for a spark.

  19. PENALTY TO TOTTENHAMpublished at 14:20 BST 12 April

John McGinn produces a lovely spin and looks to play in Matty Cash down the right, but across comes Neco Williams with a full-blooded tackle.

One for the defensive purists that.
