    Sunderland v Tottenham (14:00 BST)

Last summer if somebody had told you a game between Sunderland and Tottenham in April would have been one team hoping to get into Europe and the other fighting for their Premier League lives I don't think many would have been surprised.

But not many would have expected it to be this way round.

Sunderland sit 12th but a win today would take them to one point off what we imagine will be a European spot.

Tottenham, with seven games to go, need a win to climb out of the relegation zone.

The stakes could not be any higher for Tottenham and Nottingham Forest this afternoon.

Spurs face Sunderland anchored in the bottom three after West Ham’s 4-0 win against Wolves on Friday and a win feels essential rather than optional for Roberto de Zerbi in his first game in charge.

Forest, meanwhile, are only marginally better off, hovering just above the drop zone with a two-point safety for now. But they face a daunting visit from Europe-chasing Aston Villa and dropping points could prove them costly.

With only six games of the season to go after this week, it really is all to play for for the Premier League's bottom six.

Tottenham Hotspur and Nottingham Forest are both in action today, and both really need victories.

After back-to-back draws for nearest rivals Manchester City, many were beginning to assume Arsenal's 22-year wait for the Premier League title was finally set to end.

But yesterday's chastening 2-1 defeat by Bournemouth has once again left the door ajar for Pep Guardiola's City - who have two games in hand on the Gunners - and face Chelsea at Stamford Bridge today (16:30 BST).

Aston Villa, in fourth, are also in action as they look to boost their hopes of making it to the Champions League. They face Nottingham Forest in one of the three 14:00 kick-offs.

Tottenham will jump out of the relegation zone with a win at Sunderland, while Crystal Palace will look to take the momentum gained in their midweek Conference League thrashing of Fiorentina into their game against Newcastle.
